I think gnome and kde wallpapers should be kept seperate because it's a bit annoying when you go to either gnome-look.org or kde-look.org looking for desktop specific wallpapers and you get a list of stuff thats irrelevant to the desktop of your choice. Just my thoughts.

Looks like Frank stopped the sharing of wallpapers after there were so many complaints against wallpapers on the wrong site.

At least yesterday the Wallpaper section was titles "KDE/Gnome Wallpapers" and today it's back to "Wallpapers".

Too bad that many users are not as tolerant and open minded as the developers are.

It has nothing to do with openmindedness, just organisation. People come here looking for KDE related stuff, and the more unrelated material you post the most useless the site becomes.

I still think that we need categories in the wallpapers badly. Something like KDE, Linux, Misc.
