Description:

Hello World

This Set was born firstly for my own gust. For his nice looking I decided to share my work for all humans in the world for comparing it with everybody. So I had to bring it to a better, smoother fusion of both Themes (Human [Ubuntu-Gnome] & Hydroxygen [Oxygen]) and in many details improved Version. I worked hard for it and I think I got a very nice and modern looking Human-Theme. The main colour is orange, but I think it's a nice colour and very fashion. Okay not for everybody, but always good looking on dark Themes ;)

*** Read the install-instructions on DeviantArt ***

Enjoy Human ;D

Changelog:

Version 1.1.5:

- Kubuntu-folders in perfect state
- new Totem-icon (in Human-O2-style and closer to the origin)
- Blocks-Wlan new style
- trying a new Bluetooth-icon
- some little details ...

License:
The licences of the "Deb-File" and the "menu.sh -Script" are GPL.
The licences of the Icons are GPL, CC sa nc, LGPL and many more (copiable and for non commercial use).
The licence of the "Human-O2 Collectors-Icon-Set" is GNU / GPL.

 Great theme

by balakrishnan on: Jan 23 2009

Score 50%

I loved Deviantdark's Hydroxygen icons theme, but there were a few small things that bugged me about it. Then I came across your theme, and it's the closest to what I'd call a perfect 'Human' based theme I've seen.

Fantastic work, and thanks a lot for sharing your hard work with the rest of us.

Best regards.

Thanks of taking care of the deviantart blocked friends :).
I added the sources and reloaded but i cant find the icon theme when i search for "Human-O2-theme".
The last version you released i just extracted the theme into .icons folder and removed the deb package using synaptic.

Uff so much work ... :) The "Human-O2.sh"-Script is renamed to "human-o2", because /usr/share/*scripts* have the same kind of aspect. The change was necessary for make it correct ... ;)
Type also: "bash human-o2" Enter :D

Sorry but this change was all in all necessary ... it's easier for me and the best is, you don't care about updates - it comes automatic to you :D

Maybe it will come a little correction update the next days and then a bigger one. because I have a new idea for some Icons ;) Thanks for your audi..-Icon - I included it in my Set :)

"human-o2" you can find it in /usr/bin ;)
So it's the best to type only "bash human-o2" in your Terminal/Konsole.

And for stay clear: It will come a little correction update the next days via launchpad (PPA). In one two weeks, I think, a automatic update with major changes ;) Enjoy :D

:D Why I know it, this ask will come!

You really read the install-instructions?

I wrote:
"Changes!!!

Ubuntu/Kubuntu-Users have to purge the old deb-file in their Package-Manager (Adept/Synaptic) and then to include this sources:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/johannes-schw/ubuntu intrepid main

deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/johannes-schw/ubuntu intrepid main

The regular-tar.gz-file can be downloaded in DeviantArt [also the non-deb-version ;) ]"

Make a actualization from your package-list (update) and look for "human-o2-icons". Choose them for install and apply taken changes.
This was a description if you use Synaptic as Packet-Manager ;)

With this sources you will get automatic deb-updates without care if I published a new version ;)

Hope you did understand me ... :)

PD: You downloaded a non-deb-version. This is for non-deb-(*buntu)-distris if they wants enjoy this Set, too.

Hmmm luckly I do know about installing ubuntu via software source as you mention in your reply.

I think you should create a GPG so that there is no error in installation via third party software.

Good work. anyway what is new in your current version ?

GPG? They told me it's Bug in the launchpad and not correctable?!? But I will investigate more ... ;)

My next project is:
Choosing between the current human-loupe and a more fashion one. It's sounds easy, but there are many different loupe-variants ...
And of course ... adapt this Set more for KDE 4.x ;)

And yes, the styled Folder for Image and Video is new. Some Icons was corrected in details ... normally you don't see, but I am a perfectionist ;)

But don't mind, the update in some weeks will have some changes you will see ;)

The GPG-problem is at moment a theme for me and need to be controlled! :)

But for the next update I want make something more ... one or two weeks I will publish a new version.

BUT when I try to check using Update Manger Ubuntu, there is same error ... NO GPG key . Why this happened ?

So.. right now have no new icon set ?
Why is size quite big... like 36 MB something, if that contains a script as you said before ?

I don't now what you did with your system or what kind of update did this change ... in my Ubuntu is all as usual. And I have the lasted updates, too. My notice-icons about updates are nice looking arrows.
But this all we are talking now don't affect my IconSet :)
