how do you install them?

GnoMenu needs your theme!!! GnoMenu 2.0 is looking for a brand new theme, and it could be yours, send your work to us. https://blueprints.launchpad.net/gnomenu/+spec/new-theme

I tried to but the gnomenu couldn't install it that way, it said "uncompress the file to the themes directory" and it's not the only theme that has a problem, other themes in the package instalation. maybe is the Fedora but i want to now why.

 Gnomenu: updating problem

by TheEdgeOfForever on: Dec 15 2009

Hello!
I've tried to update gnomenu from 1.9.9 version to 2.1 one. Installation process has gone fine, but when I try to launch gnomenu, it doesn't work. System replies with the following error message:
"GnoMenu could not be loaded. An internal error occurred and the applet could not be loaded."

Then I launch the command "sudo GnoMenu.py run-in-window" in a terminal, but I get: "sh: /usr/lib/gnomenu/GnoMenu.py: Permission denied".

So I've decided to come back to 1.9.9 version...but nothing changes. I can't use gnomenu anymore :(
Any help?

PS: I use ubuntu 8.04 LTS

 don't emulate the start menu

It just means more clicks. Why should I have to click a button when "Applications", "Places", and "System" are already there?

lol, you dont like clicks do you, well nobody forces you to use it, just stick with your regular gnome menu... until gnome-shell comes...

anyways, i only need one click since with this menu i can create a favorite list of apps

Would it be doable to port GnoMenu to work with Docky, instead of just the standard gnome panel?
