Description:

GnoMenu - A consolidated menu for gnome that brings eye candy to the world of the Gnome menu's. Fully functional menu , supports themes , for a composited or non composited desktop. It can emulate the look and feel of the most beautiful menus of most modern desktops, and it can also use custom menus, due to its powerful theme XML engine.

I still have a problem and I would like to know if they are the only or not.
the "home" and the "documents" open normally but if I try to open "images" or "video" or "music", opens the "home".
is a common problem?

What is the paths to your images, music and videos folders. This works fine for me. However no two distros follow the same concept and some use the following path ~/documents/pictures while Ubuntu uses ~/pictures. If your path is different then you should create a bug report at:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnomenu

This way Helder and the rest of the GnoMenu team can look into fixing it. I suspect that GnoMenu may not be using the default paths in your System settings and rather, is using hard coding of the paths. It is things like this we are looking for to be reported to us so we can fix the small annoyances and make a very serious menu system. Helder just added system color awareness so that Theme makers can make system color aware menus, or if they choose code in their own color scheme in their themes and tell GnoMenu not change them. (Including the text color) which is a bug I reported and then wrote the blueprint on for it to be fixed. This feature will be in the 1.7 release. We are working hard to make GnoMenu a serious and professional menu alternative for Gnome. But we need these bug reports posted at Launchpad.

Try deleting the file .GnoMenuSettings.xml that is in your home directory. It is a hidden file so you need to ctrl-H in nautilus to see it. (if using Ubuntu)

Then reload the menu to the panel and try to configure it to your likings once again.

Awesome menu, Whise!

I wonder if you mind having a look at this:

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/Shakhtar9/gnomenu.png

Notice the blue menu inside with the crappy fonts? It's like this all the themes. Doesn't look like your screenshots.

Is this right or have I done something wrong?

Go into preferences and change the widget style to classic. Animated doesn't work on mine either

why?
engine of cairo is wonderful and very useful thing!

also, I find a strange bug in v1.62 - after click on this butiful menu button your menu shows only in bottom right side of the screen.
I'm in a shock.

sorry:
- I can't make a screenshot 'cause when I press on [Prt Sc] then menu is hiding, and I don't know otherwise method.
- sorry for my English. I'm Russian ^.^
