GnoMenu - A consolidated menu for gnome that brings eye candy to the world of the Gnome menu's. Fully functional menu , supports themes , for a composited or non composited desktop. hello

im trying Lucid lynx 10.04 in alpha statement (daily updated )

gnomenu is working great but sometimes it does not open in right place
if a window is open too close of the gnomenu icon, the menu appears far away.

my icon is on top left and most of the time the menu is displayed top right or bottom left (randomly)

screenshot > http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/9120/capturevj.png

first i believed it was my theme but it happen with all default theme

if i can debug something you need please let me know. i do not know how to do

 Gnomenu and Fedora

by TheStarLion on: Mar 2 2010

I just tried downloading and installing this in Fedora 12.
Both dependencies and recommendeds were met, and make install as root installed it fine.
But trying to add it to the panel causes python to crash. There is a bug report in Python about it filed filed here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=560414

Would like to have Gnomenu working in Fedora
