For all ye new users out there. First go to your Home folder.

Then press Ctrl + H together. This shows your hidden folders. Find .gnome2 and inside that find nautilus scripts.

Copy your script into that folder. DONE

But how to join the split files? There is no menu as "join".

Archiver does not seem to work

The Nautilus Archiver -> Archive creation is buggy.
A bz2 file is successfull but the compressed file is containing nothing...also size is just 14 bytes while the source folder was 16MB, so it can be said that Directory level compression is not possible.
The script is just good enough to comprerss indivisual files. One can compress multiple slected files in one go leading to multiple compressed files in PWD.

The Extraction on the other hand seems to be doing nothing.

 Rootilus

Is there a way to make it open text files when i double click?, For some reason it always says it doesnt know how to handle a file, and right clicking only has an option to open. I'd like to see my scripts, and options like open in gedit.
