Description:

This iconset won't ever have a massive modification.
All the work I am doing on it right now is just trying to push it to perfection, making small changes release after release [you can see what's happening in the changelog below], so please feel free to report any bug you experience, but first of all ensure you've read the instructions file ;)

Now.. the description can begin...

At first I collaborated with crhispy, releasing different coloured versions of his worderful port "Oxygen-Refit".
Now I decided to create a fork of his porting, integrating some icons I caught around the web, and some others I edited/created by myself.

Please feel free to report and bug within the comments.

A great big thank for you all.

UPDATE

Archlinux users can install this iconset from the AUR repository, just typing:

yaourt -S hydroxygen-iconset

Hydroxygen are also have been included within the GNU/Linux Paldo official repos.
Many thanks to kim88.

Really nice work youve done here... but please bring back the image with the customizing options... its better to see what every command does... the graphic from your previous release was really nice

I'll see what I can do. Now I am too tired to draw the image instructions from zero :)

I hope I'll do it in a few days, BTW.

How did we go from the wonderful original version of this to ugly orange folders and ugly icons? Where are the earlier versions?

Well said, my friend ;)
I decided to replace the white folders with the orange ones by default.
But everyone can always change them by typing:

./change-type.sh whitefolder

And it's all done! ;)

 Color folder issue

by Capkirk on: Oct 9 2008

Score 50%

Hi,
again I have problems setting color folders. Only network connection folders have the correct color lime smb shares (and type). Normal folder are withe/brown color (and old type folder, like tango icon theme).
My distro is Debian SID.

Thank you

I don't know if there is something different from Sid and Ubuntu [the one and only distro I tested my iconset].

But: did you apply the customization before installing the iconset?
Did you also verify if the custom colour you have chosen with the script has influenced the "places" icons like "folder", "folder-bookmarks", etc.?

Hi,
yes, I applied the customization following the included readme.
Also "places" icons like "folder", "folder-bookmarks", etc. are correctly customized except normal color folder icons. Whatever thing I set with change-type.sh script I can't get them to change color (or shape).

If you need I can provide a screenshot.

Thanks

Could it be you're using png instead of svg?
