Description:

OxygenRefit2 is an icon-compilation primarly made for my desktop.

Well, I would say OR2 is the most complete icon-theme to date.

I’ve sampled all icons I like (mostly Oxygen) and made the package.

BTW: OR2 2.6.0 will add the script for modifying the theme on-the-fly.

NOTE: The release-tarball include 16×16 24×24 32×32 48×48 icons only. If you want other sizes too, download the GIT-repo, as it contains the 128×128 icons.

 Stardict icons

by najmudin on: Jul 14 2008

Would you please add a system tray icons for "stardict" the dictionary application ,the current icons are ugly and dose not fit with the rest or the gnome panel because of its background so if you used the transparent panel option you can notice it like in this screenshot :
http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/5605/stardictscreenshotip9.png

It will be great if you can make new icons for it.
Thanks & Best regards

This is the default icons, OR2 does currently not ship one for stardict. I'll try to find out the icon-name and add one to the next release.

This theme is just awesome! It would be a killer theme if it had an openoffice style. But it would be a really big job. Anyways, once again, GOOD WORK!

Sorry for the off-topic but I was wondering about that double Nautilus side panel in your screenshots.

I've found a patch for this on the nautilus mailing list.

I uploaded it to my homepage.

http://www.nanolx.org/nauti_04_split_side_panel.patch

I'm currently using Nautilus 2.23, but it should also work with 2.22.

Download the source.

cd nautilus-x.xx.x

patch -Np0 -i ../nauti_04_split_side_panel.patch

aclocal
autoheader
autoconf
automake

./configure --prefix=/usr

make

sudo make install [or] su -c "make install"

That should be it.

 charging icon typo

 by r77 on: Aug 29 2008

I love this icon set a lot and I now use it on both my linux boxes. It looks beautiful on Linux Mint.

I made a similar post to this on the page for the green version (which I used to use).

There is a typo in the name of one of the "battery charging" icons, causing the ugly GNOME charging icon to appear. The name is wrong for all the icon sizes. The icon in question is called "gpm-primary-060-chariging.png" (it's fairly obvious what it should be renamed to). It's in the folder apps-extra.

For those of you, like me, who were a bit stumped as to what to do after having renamed all the icons, you need to refresh the icon theme's cache:

gtk-update-icon-cache ~/.icons/OxygenRefit2

(this typo is present in all the different coloured versions of this icon theme, as far as I am aware)

Excelent work, very complete and uniform iconset, I will use it in gnome while KDE4 become more stable. Thanks!
