Any way you can allow the use of another font? The default is fine, but I'd like to use something like this: http://www.fontfinder.ws/7878/Digital-Dream.html

try deleting its config files

they are in ~/.config/Screenlets folder
(delete everything with name digitalclock)

if this doesn't help run it from terminal and copy here what terminal says

 Functionality

I just wanted to say that I love this clock, but I wish it had some more functionality...like an ALARM that blinks any color and maybe a stopwatch. Just some thoughts.

I'm still trying to figure out how to make these dang things, but can't find a tutorial that I can follow, any suggestions?

there isn't any tutorial... but in source of 0.1 version you have documentation... and from it and from example screenlet you can learn by yourself...
