Description:

Blue-Joy is a combination of the Blue-Junior GTK theme, Azur GTK theme and the Slickness Metacity theme. I have made a lot of special modifications myself. The drop down menus, panel, check boxes, radio boxes, buttons and tabs are all custom designed for this theme.

The icon theme used in the desktop screen shot is "Elementary Icons".

Because this is a black theme it has some colored text bugs in Firefox 2
(Firefox 3 does not have this problem).

In Firefox, some pages have white background with white text,to fix this
go to (in Firefox) Edit>Preferences>>Content ,click on colors,
Uncheck the "Use system colors" check box
Then restart Firefox.

To have white text in the Firefox menubar you must modify userChrome.css
Add the following code to your userChrome.css file.
userChrome.css is located at: /home/{YOUR USERNAME}/.mozilla/firefox/{YOUR PROFILE ID}/chrome/userChrome.css

menubar > menu {

}

Your theme is very good, I like it.
Could you do a version with rounded buttons? the square are not very elegant.

Thanks.

This looks awesome!

the only turn offs for me are buttons and
tabs.

Other than that, you have done a great theme! (I especially like the scroll and progress bars)

the tabs are great it's just they are in my
opinion to pixelated at the rounding point :) (minor detail I know)

In a theme as good as this, there is only minor
details to complain about.

Ok I know what you mean... The tabs are taken from the Blue-Junior GTK theme. I plan on changing them soon to look smoother.

I absolutely love this theme apart from a few minor things. The blue you used for highlighting doesn't match the blues you used for the scroll/progress bars, it's seems too bright in comparison and it really stands out. Another thing I noticed is that there is no visible color difference between the desktop switchers when I have multiple windows open on 2 or 3 desktops.

Thanks for the feedback. I dulled the highlight color a little bit. I don't think it should be to dark because its the highlight color. I'm not sure what you are referring to concerning the workspace switcher. Is it hard to differentiate the workspaces or the applications that are open?

Yes, I meant the workspace switchers. Maybe something in a lighter shade of gray for the active desktop?

 Bittornado

BTW, I discovered something weird using Bittornado. When I use another theme the max upload rate is visible but not with your theme. Maybe it fixable? (included screenshot to show the difference)

Thanks for the help...I fixed the Bittornado bug! I also lightened the pager/workspace switcher as you requested. Please let me know if you find anything else that needs to be changed.

Thnx for fixing the bittornado bug :-)
What do you think about the lighter color for the desktop switcher? I think it's much better.
