Great Sounds :) BUT the end sound might be just a little long. Otherwise perfect *thumbs up*.

That's my two pence worth.

I had a great deal of difficulty converting the MP3's to a usable WAV so that Gnome could use them. In case anyone else is having the same problem, you have to use Audacity. Do not use the "Sound Converter" program in Ubuntu Gutsy. While Sound Converter will create a WAV file that can be previewed and played in Totem, Gnome itself will be fussy and usually not like it. The version exported from Audacity has not yet given me trouble.

Mentalrey: I don't suppose you'd be kind enough to post .WAV versions of the sounds that are usable with Gnome?

I hope you'll keep the existing End around, maybe as an alternative in the .zip. I currently use "Start" when GDM comes up, and "End" when I log in... --because despite Ubuntu's speed improvements Gnome still takes its sweet time starting up. :)

fantastic sounds!!!

About to convert, my prefered method to convert music in every format to wav is using mplayer, in the console just type:

mplayer miArchivo.mp3 -ao pcm

then, in the directory a audiodump.wav was created.

Sorry if you dont understand but mi lenguage is spanish.
