After extracting from the archive, the file lgconstants.py ends up with permissions rw------. In order to get this screenlet to work run this command (ubuntu):

sudo chmod 644 lgconstants.py

Then run the screenlet :D

Whise, any chance to use the old skin you had?

 About the themes ...

Thanks a lot for this very nice screenlet.
I have just a question about the themes. I tried to change the .PNG file in usr/local/share/Screenlets/Gmail/themes but when I want to chose a new theme, it doesn't work. What should I do to create a new theme ?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

How am I supposed to login with this thing? I don't get any place to put my credentials in.

Also, I use Swiftweasel, but this thing opens up Firefox no matter what my default browser is.
