WARNINGS

This is just the first pre-release version of the installer, use it at your own risk. I\'ll be very grateful for feedbacks and requests.

WHAT?

This is my first attempt on creating a .deb file for automatic installation of graphic themes.

HOW?
To install everything just extract the file, enter the directoty and click twice the file and wait for installation

AGAIN: WHAT?
It will install just some components of the suite:
- Gtk2
- Emerald
- Guification
- Splash Screen
- NowPlaying Screenlet
- Grub
- Fonts
- Conky
- GDM Theme

Grub autoscript
When you install the suite you got the xpm image in the right place, but you don't get the menu.lst configured. To configure it, you can run my automated script located in your

/usr/local/script/install_splash

as Root

Other Informations

For other informations and support please visit the installer homepage on my blog

I tried to create a double dependance by adding gaim|pidgin syntax.

I hope this will fix.

If not do not hesitate to communicate it.

Thank you

Icons are not released with deb package cause they are copyrighted.

You can download them from here
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/download.php?content=57819&id=12

If you want to activate Conky just run
/usr/share/h-k/conky/conky_start
from a terminal or with ALT+F2

If you want guification just install the plugin of gaim, then select the theme

For all other dubts please read my blog where I tried to explain what to do for each theme

I downloaded the .zip file and then I exctracted it as explained. Then I clicked it twice and the installation began. Then it said that the package was succesfully installed, but nothing happend. So I don't know wether I still have to do something or wether it doesn't work.

Everything you described is right, now you need to activate the themes. For example if you want to activate the gtk2 theme you need to open your

System -> preferences -> theme

and select the H-K Suite Theme.

Or if you want to set your GDM you have to open yout

System -> administration -> Login windows

and select the new theme

This installer just installs all the components but you have to activate theme. I realized it as this because i believed that activating everything by default should be too much invadent :D

But in System-> preferences -> Theme did you then selected the 'Personalize' Button, that allows you to set each theme separately?

In that window you can Select the h-k Gt2k theme

For login windows (GDM) you have to go System -> administration -> Login window and in the 'Local' Tab you have to chose the new theme.

Actually I can't see any error in nor ubuntu Feisty neither in Gutsy, nor in i386 neither in amd64 arch.

Ok, once I got to the themes window I clicked the button to install themes and choose the .deb file, but the theme window didn't accept the ".deb" . I know it can't be so difficult but i guess i'm making somewhere a mistake.
P.S. I really like the whole theme^^

I believe you should see my previous answare and also check bettere your themes configuration utility because this suite is made expecially for Feisty Fawn and i don't think you should have all those difficulties. Themes are installed correctly, perhaps you don't know exactly how to activate them.
