Description:

The same animated cursors as in my 'Golden Xcursors 3D' theme, but this time rendered with a bluish, transparent material.
Maybe this one fits better into the brighter desktop themes than the golden one.

Installation:

Copy the two folders 'Blue' and 'default' to your ~/.icons directory and
restart your X-Server.

If you want to have bigger cursors, you have to create an .Xdefaults file
in your home directory and insert the following two lines:

Xcursor.theme: Blue
Xcursor.size: 48

The default size is 32.

That's it!

Note: If the animations are flickering on your nvidia card with the latest
driver, add the following line to your XF86Config file, into the nvidia
device section, to fix it:

Option "HWCursor" "off"

Changelog:

0.4
- added pirate
- a little less animation (requested)

0.3:
- added smaller size
- modiefied text-cursor
- added some symlinks

0.2:
- added 'fleur'
- modified the material
- slightly changes on some cursors
- added some symlinks

well, i'm still trying to get my mouth shut again...
until now I've been using the TuxCursors.. funny, but sometimes annoying.

Your cursors are absolutely great! I realy like the arrow and hour-glass cursor.
Imho the hand-cursor and text-cursor need some work. Hand-Cursor should look a bit more like a human-hand perhaps.. and text-cursor could be bigger. I have problems seeing it when working in konsole.

but still, the very best cursors I have ever seen!

what for do I need an extra signature box??

Tom

I was trying out your golden set last night. The cursors look really nice, however I began to wonder what it would look like having nice sivler ones. Just a thought. There is so much blue out the right now for KDE, and I'm not a huge fan of gold. As well, do you intend to create a full set?

where can i get a list of the file names that X uses by default for the cursors?

i would like to symlink your cross and cross_reverse to the X-Kill and the default X cursor.

The cursor looks great. I have suggestion though, can you make smaller sized ones as well, maybe the same size as the original X cursors

My instinct is screaming, "Vote it down! Vote it down!" but this one's too good for such harsh judgment, even if it's blue. :)
