Not always ;-)
...however frequently. Why?
Because drops are... nice, showy, flashy? ;-))

Personally, I think drops are a great symbol for open source software... the way water droplets will join together to make a bigger drop, and the bigger drops form together to make an even bigger drop... eventually you have a river :)

This is one excellent shot! I like especially how the drops function as little lenses and let you capture the background... simply amazing. Keep up the good work!

You can wait for a rain, and after go to look for interesting objects. It is good method because you sometimes find something very nice, what you have not suspected.

You can also take a sprinker and make drops artifically on choosen object. It is especially good if you want to make a photos not in the nature but eg. in your room, or if you cannot wait for a rain ;-)

It is really interesting what big differences are observable in drops behaviour on different surfaces, eg. on leaves of different plant species. Even some of grass species carries big, nice drops, others much smaller (but also nice) droplets.
Looking for nice drops is quite fun kind of hunting ;-)
