Description:

Chameleon Xcursors theme is a cursor set created primarily in Inkscape and ImageMagick (for semitransparent and shadow).
Work on KDE and GNOME.
The cursors border color is negative of body color for high visibility.
(Small/Regular/Large version included)

Installation:
install from KDE Control Panel or
uncompress file in the ~/.icons directory and choose the theme from kde or gnome control panel.

Note:
if the animations are flickering on your nvidia card, add the following line to your xorg.conf file, into the nvidia device section, to fix it:

Option "HWCursor" "off"

Changelog:

Version 0.5
- increased resize cursors body for visibility
- modified animation for text and vertical-text cursors
- added pirate cursor (for xkill)
- added DarkSkyBlue color
- changed border color of *SkyBlue cursors (now it's white)

Version 0.4
- fix animated wait cursor (rotation centre fix)
- added animated text and vertical-text cursors (inverted color pulse)
- reduced zoom-in and zoom-out cursors size
- increased cursors border size
- hand cursors color changed
- resize cursors resized :-)

Version 0.3
- various fix
- added animated cursor progress
- added animated cursor wait

 Beautiful; 1 comment

Very beautiful cursors; extremely well done, particularly the grab-and-drag cursor, and the hyperlink-pointer cursor. One minor comment though: the animated text-input (I) cursor gets a bit distracting, particularly since the black used in the cycle for the Pearl cursors fades to nearly nothing when in front of a black terminal, making it look like the cursor disappears and reappears.

Very good theme! Just one thing that is a bit... strange:
The cursor were there is the arrow AND the watch seems to be missing, so that gnome switches to the other one instead.

 greyish tint

This is now my favorite theme, but I seem to have a problem (with other cursors themes too). All my cursors seem to have a greyish tint to them. Each and every theme. I don't know if it has something to do with my KDE/Qt color theme or what. Anybody know how to fix it?
