 cairo anyone?

IIRC this will be possible with cairo.
This would be exactly what gnome needs to be more appreciated by "klicky-bunti"-users as we call them in Germany - and even as an ion3 user I have to admit that this looks awesome.
Without the transparency it might not even take very long to render...

I agree with those who say you should send this off to Gnome. It's beautiful.

Hy!

I just want to ask that how did you do this with the GNOME? Have you got a beta version of GNOME or have you got XOrg?
If you have a simple GNOME and if you haven' t got XOrg on your OS, then please write to me that how did you do this with the GNOME. =)

This is just a moc-up of what the artist thinks GNOME should look like. Right now it isn't possible to make GNOME look exactly like that.

 about your svg...

I have been doing XFCE4 port of the window borders and GTK2.0 theme.

I'd like to note that SVG colours differ a lot from colours in screenshot. (I am talking about the dark borders in svg.)

I am going to use some of them when doing xfce4 port. But mainly I'll try to use colours in screenshot.

I'd like to ask about font also. What's the font you are using in screenshots?

I felt in love with it.
make it real please :)

I think finding new ways of designing GUIs is best way to make a system more attractiv e. "innovation" is the keyword.

what about changing the way of using/displaying the 3 close/maximise/minimise buttons ?

apple did it on the left i think.

JEAH awesome work!!11one

you can change the window button order playing around with the apps/metacity/general/button-layout gconf value.
