Description:

This is an icon theme based on my other theme "nuoveXT" and "Windows Vista".

It is strongly recommended to have NuoveXT (1.5) installed to use this theme, simply because it inherits it (all mimetypes for instance).

For those who is wondering:
Metacity: Blendish (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=27002)
GTK: Clearlooks-Etiquette from the Big pack (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=25557)
Wallpaper: breathe easy (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22134277/)
Icons: ;-)

Constructive feedbacks are, of course, welcome ;-) Hope you'll like it. Saki

2005.11.20 version 1.0

 CD

I love the Icon set but don't like the icons for the CDs much. Why don't you make use of my CD Icons? My Icon set is Complexity. I provide the SVG source so it is just a matter downloading the icon set.

All the icons in my set are in the public domain.

Complexity:

Realy love the other icons tho

Is this some sleezy Vista promotion?

I will not touch these icons even with a 20ft barge pole.

That's right! And I'm getting a dime from Micro$oft for every single downloads ;-) Seriously, I'm sorry you didn't liked it. But I'm sure others will...

 Blurriness

I was not aware about them being Vista style or some thing like that, but they are nice icons.

I hope that you will add a little black outline to them all they look kinda blurry when viewed at 1280x1024. Esp the smaller icons like in toolbars etc.

Saying it more appropriately they are not very disntictive from light coloured themes like clearlooks clarity for example.

See the Gperfection set for the crispnes value.

Great icon set.

you have done a very good job giving to gnome a "modern" look.

Too much people were tired of "Kristal" and gnome default icons. and NuoveXT and this icon set solves the problem :).

i have some suggestions.

i am agree with gauravnawani, i use clearlooks-default and some icons look blurry.

for example i have copy/cut/paste on my nautilus toolbar ( browser mode ) and they are very hard to disntict even at 800x600 :S. you can also check it out by opening Gedit.

cheers!
