Description:

This is an icon theme based on my other theme "nuoveXT" and "Windows Vista".

It is strongly recommended to have NuoveXT (1.5) installed to use this theme, simply because it inherits it (all mimetypes for instance).

For those who is wondering:
Metacity: Blendish (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=27002)
GTK: Clearlooks-Etiquette from the Big pack (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=25557)
Wallpaper: breathe easy (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22134277/)
Icons: ;-)

Constructive feedbacks are, of course, welcome ;-) Hope you'll like it. Saki

 Nice but

I really like what you're going for here. I like the folder icon a lot, but the audio, harddrive, home, internet, and trash icons all look pretty lacking. I think it would look good to have the internet icon look like a realistic picture of the Earth, and the same with the harddrive icon. It'd be cool if you made the trashcan icon look like one of those wire trash cans. I actually have one, so I took a picture of it that you can view here:

Sorry, I just left the trash in it, but I couldn't find a place in which to empty it.

The svg icons looks bad on the cairo backend of gtk 2.8 also??

If they look bad there, then this is bad news.

Also you think you could share your svg source, i may give you a hand with some icons.

Yes, svg looks bad in gtk2.8 and cairo. From what little I have read, they've really just begun svg support, but as bad as it is and as little as cairo does , and is intented to do, it won't fix the problem.

Quite a few of the icons used in this set can be found in the Openclipart.org website along with their svg source.

Ick, the gaim icon is just awful and blurry as hell. Let's stop going for a Windows look and continue the fantastic Nuove-XT icons!

There is no gaim icon in this set. The icon you are referring to is probably one from the "fantastic Nuove-XT" theme ;-)

Well when I'm using Nuove-XT, the gaim icon is a nice silver, when I switch to Vista it changes to a blurred yellow one. It must be inheriting it from the Gnome icon set, because that one looks the same, instead of Nuove. My apologies.

I love the Icon set but don't like the icons for the CDs much. Why don't you make use of my CD Icons? My Icon set is Complexity. I provide the SVG source so it is just a matter downloading the icon set.

All the icons in my set are in the public domain.

Complexity:

Realy love the other icons tho
