 Geary mailclient unreadable

 by vince07 on: Oct 8 2013

Score 50%

when using trevilla on geary the colom with messages are small lines. I don't know if this is a Geary problem or a problem caused by the theme itself.

It's a possible bug from Geary to theme (or viceversa); ubuntu saucy is still a beta version and many applications have problems.

Softwarecenter settings are in /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/css/softwarecenter.css.
In dark theme, you can change the first two lines:
@define-color light-aubergine #DED7DB;
@define-color super-light-aubergine #F4F1F3;
with:
@define-color light-aubergine #4A4A4A;
@define-color super-light-aubergine #5A5A

Many people have trouble using dark themes with Ubuntu because the software center likes to keep its white background and also use the default light colored text.
Sorry I don't know another solution.

You can reload Theme (look at softwarecenter.css in Gtk-3.0 folder), and use Trevilla-Tweak script in order to change swc colors.
Via Terminal:
sudo cp /usr/share/themes/Trevilla-ThemeDark/gtk-3.0/softwarecenter.css
/usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/css

Thanks for your great theme!

One request: When maximizing a window, the close-minimize-restore buttons go to the top-left corner; these buttons are of the windows 7 style and different from the normal minimize-maximize-close buttons, would you please make them look like the normal minimize-maximize-close buttons.

Now the buttons of maximized windows are the same as those of the normal windows. I understand the request?. Reload theme.
Thank you

 Navigation menu in Nemo (Cinnamon)

Hi, I love this theme, use it on my LinuxMint Petra with Cinnamon. Only one minor flaw, in Nemo, the navigation font is in white and you cannot read it very easily when using the white version of the theme. How to fix it, please?

 Great work but to issues

 by rojthevorlon on: Feb 4 2014

I'm running Mint 13 which is 12.04 LTS.

First of all, Ubuntu Tweaks Janitor settings are unreadable as the text and background colour are the same.

Secondly, in Cairo-Dock when using the Clock Applet, the calendar has the same problem: the background and text are the same colour.

The Adwaita theme and default Mint themes do not have these issues.

Also, could the highlightingfor file selection in Nautilus and Nemo be made more noticeable? Right now they tend to blend too well witht he background.

Thanks very much for your efforts.

Trevilla 4.1 theme is tested for Mint Petra and Ubuntu Saucy; Trevilla 4.2, in progress, only for Ubuntu Trusty. I can correct some stuff, if you send me screenshots to trevilla@teletu.it

your theme has helped me a lot with the new unity decorator theme.Im'glad to have another code reference than ambiance, which is mostly clean and well written. However, normallly i use ambiance as code base `cause its the ubuntu standard theme.
