Just move the Faince folder from ~/.themes to /usr/share/themes and it will work!

Credits goes to an deviantart user ;)

@tiheum: Can you please add this note to the readme?

Quote:
It seems Gnome Shell in 3.6.1 looks for metacity themes in ~/.local/share/themes instead of in ~/.themes. Gtk still looks for themes in ~/.themes, though. As a workaround, you can symlink one of the locations to the other one.

 gnome panel issues

Thanks so much for sharing the most beautiful GTK3 theme to date! I'm especially fond of how you did the tabs.

One issue I noticed however, is that this theme doesn't play nice with gnome-panel (aka "Gnome Classic" in Ubuntu). The color around the time/date and global menu text is a different color of grey than the rest of the panel.

Thanks again for the fantastic theme!

Using the same titlebar buttons in unity dashboard

Here's the method I've developed to make Unity dashboard (close/minimize/(un)maximize) buttons consistent with the current theme:

1) Use this script to backup the default icons for buttons:

2) Use this script to replace them with symbolic links to relevant icons in your themes unity subfolder:

GTK2 apps are not picking up the style completely. They still use orange as the selection color.

Nautilus 3.6.
For some reasons, Ubuntu 12.10 provides Nautilus 3.4 but you can install the new version via a PPA.
