 BUG

by loneowais on: Oct 29 2012

Score 50%

1) I'm seeing orange as the active selection in Firefox and Synaptic is still orange even after restarting. GTK3 apps look fine.

2) The on - off text on switches is too small and hard to see sometimes. I think the switches themselves could have been a little bigger but that's just an opinion.

3) The active menu highlight in the unity panel looks odd when the menu is open. It doesn't depict an association between the menu and the menu button in the panel. It might work for GnomeShell as the menus have an explicit arrow there but it looks really bad in Unity. I think something like Ambiance would be better.

 Sugestions

by nebrit on: Oct 29 2012

Several suggestions:

- Lyrics of the top menus of messages off ... looks too little, gray font in so clear that almost invisible on any computer.

- The "x" for closing windows would put more red shading hardly see.

- The letters of the icons is too light. Not seen in the desktop, should have the same hue as ambiance.

On the other hand, can tell me where I can change the color of the highlight and the progress bar to pass from blue to orange ubuntu. This theme would be perfect if it were in orange is the official color of ubuntu, and besides being a visually high-contrast color is better.

I'm using Gnome Shell but the window borders don't look like they're using the RGBA antialiasing feature of Mutter, though the screenshots look like they do - am I doing something wrong?

Everything else is awesome though!

After retesting is still a mistake, and he made a suggestion with a mockup.

In the coming days we will realize some more.

The error are desktop icons as you can see in the screenshot 1, the letters are not icons.

The suggestion is screenshot 2 where I put a mockup of closing window
