Would you mind add another icon for Android SDK manager?

I like the N-Buttons theme!

 Missing icon for smplayer

 by aaronlewis1989 on: Oct 7 2012

Score 50%

You don't need to copy the icon, e.g thunar <-> nautilus, just make a link is fine ;-P

Also, can you link the totem.svg to smplayer.svg in all your themes?

Thanks

I do, but compressing the file breaks the symlinks and creates individual files.

Sure I will add it.

Ah Actually I mean a local link, e.g

ln -s totem.svg smplayer.svg

In that case, the link won't break 'cause it's relative path...

P.S also remember to create the link for "mplayer" as well ... thx

Yep, that's what I do but compressing nullifies that I don't know why.

Have you tried using tar instead of just 7zip? You can 7zip the tar file after making it. The icons look great. Going to download them in a sec.

Nope, I use 7zip because of its high compression ratio that allows me to upload it faster (internet sucks over here :/ ) I'll try with just .tar and then 7zipping that, thanks.

 More icons ...

These are the icon names of applications that people might use:

kchmviewer, chmsee-icon, vmware-workstation, wicd-gtk, wireshark, codeblocks, matlab (this one has no standard icon name)

Thanks for making this theme more comprehensive ;-P

 unity panel icons

by paulsalden on: Oct 9 2012

great work, thanks for the commitment

for me this theme would be perfect if it somehow supported light icons for in the unity panel. I realize there is a unity-specific version, but that doesn't cut it for me either (I don't use the default ambiance theme)

Light icons as in non dark icons?, NITRUX-Clear-All has them.

thanks for your reply

the problem is this: I have a dark panel and window borders, but an otherwise light gtk theme (flatstudio). The clear all theme solves the panel issue, but also places clear icons on my white nautilus background, for example. I tried combining the regular and clear-all theme to get what I want, but that didn't seem straightforward.

Ah I see then, panel icons=light, the rest fo the icons=dark, is this correct?

That is the most important thing and would be awesome, yes.

If you'd want to make it fully compatible with FlatStudio (which also recommends your set, btw), maybe you could try the theme yourself and have a look:

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/FlatStudio?content=154296

It has dark toolbars, which would work better with light icons too. (Example: "next page" in evince document viewer.)

But like I said, the panel icons would already be great. Thanks again for your answers.

same issue here. I use LXDE with light theme (FlatStudio) but dark panel - your theme should offer, at the same time, light icons for dark panels and dark icons for the rest.

improvements:

1) make all icons square becasue make no sense to mix different shapes. Example: trash-icon - it looks bad in docky dockbar because it's not square like the other icons (desktop, file manager, browser and so on)

2) make forward, back,up,down icons more similae to Faenza/Elementary one. "<,>,^" don't look nice in my opinion

thanks a lot again

1)I'm looking for a way to do that, preferably with a script instead of just adding another variant.

2)The set is divided in categories, the square icons are for apps and apps only, the devices are meant to be a bit more realistic, whereas the actions and status are as a simple as they can be (they don't even use gradients, they use a solid color). Therefore, the trash icon being in the /status category is in line with the rest of the icons there.

3)Sorry, but that is not possible.
