Thanks for the fantastic work. I was using Faenza for over a year and no other icon set seemed to touch it until I saw yours on OMG!Ubuntu. Nitrux is now my new default. Thanks for helping the Linux world to be a that much more beautiful and professional.

Great work here! Nice to see them have a page at GnomeLook now! So they can get more exposure. :)

 amazing icon theme

 by hunter75 on: Oct 6 2012

Score 63%

the best icon theme since Faenza!

some suggestions:
1) make a Clear-All version of Nitrux-Azure
2) improve some status/emblemes icons (dropbox first) and set trash-icon square-size as all other icons
3) add new icons (basenji, 7zip, avidemux, apcupsd...)

thanks again for your great work!

@DevianTN7k1

Dropbox icons (status) are black and I can not see them in my LXDE panel with black color background; I suggest to change color (maybe green or something else with high contrast over both dark and light background). Same problem with Transmission tray-icon and others.

I also suggest to improve Thunderbird icon, now it's all white and quite anonymous.

Icon of gnome-disk-utility could be fine for a music-player, not for a config utility.

back and forward icons (actions): I would make them more similar to Faenza or Elementary ones.

About missing icons: basenji, apcupsd, distributor logos (archlinux, debian, and so on), 7zip, avidemux, compiz fusion icon, dconf editor, nvidia xserver settings

Your icon-theme is wonderful and with some improvements could be the best ever!

The NITRUX-Clear-All sub style contains light icons to be used in dark themes.

What do you mean the Thunderbird icon is white? it is the same as evolution, only in blue instead of yellow. (it's an open letter, always been like this ;) )

A distinctive part of the set are the back and forward (and go,down, etc) icons. Making them as faenza's or elementary's (where the common arrow is used) would completely break it's styling.

Bare in mind the Set is meant to be used on a Linux distro (hence the name) therefore the distributor logo is of that distro. I can make another pack containing the popular distros logos but it would be a separate set.

Dconf-editor is already in the set, I'll add the rest you listed.

 Nice Icons

 by Dax999 on: Oct 6 2012

I had been using these icons via PPA prior to being posted here. I am beta testing with Ubuntu 12.10 Gnome 3.6 and notice the session menu indicator near the user name doesn't display properly except for in the umd set. Faenza icons have been my past choice but simply don't work with the messaging menu on Ubuntu 12.10. Great Work !

NITRUX-UMD is not mantained by me but by OMG Ubuntu as it is based on an older version of the Icons with some of them being different and using the monochrome Ubuntu icons (they will update it eventually), I however do assist the mantainer when he needs it. I too have tested the icons in 12.10 and indeed the "Cog" is missing as they changed it from a "computer" to the "cog" icon which haven't found :P (just when I added one lol >.<) , but I'll find it and change it :D

Thank you very much for your comment and your support :D

This only affects Unity and I able to use the other NITRUX sets in the Gnome Shell and XFCE 4.10. I will just use the umd set in Unity for now.
