Description:

Flat, simple and clean :)

- Inside the theme folder there is a readme.txt file with some simple instructions (styles for nautilus, change selection color, metacity-buttons)

If you are using Firefox, I recommend for this theme to install the extension FXChrome. It is not completely flat but almost ;)
https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/fxchrome/?src=api

requires:
- GNOME 3.4.x or GNOME 3.6.x (does not work on other versions of gnome)
- GTK3 theme uses unico-engine
- GTK2 theme uses gtk2-engines-murrine

There are four themes:
FlatStudio: based on the color of my other theme MediterraneanNight

FlatStudioLight: found a mockup that I really liked and in which I based for FlatStudioLight, the mockup is of Tobias Bernard\'s (minimal GTK theme mockup), found in
http://tobiasbernard.com/floss/minimal-gtk-theme/

FlastudioGray: soft gray frame

FlatStudioDark: flat dark theme :)

Shell theme:

- Inside is also a version compatible with Gnome 3.4 (FlatStudio-G3.4.tar.gz)

Version FlatStudio v1.01 (2012-10-16)
--------------------------------------
- Added 2 new themes: FlatStudioGray and FlatStudioDark

 cambios para ubuntu

 by Jemaga on: Sep 30 2012

Score 50%

for now is part of the original design of the mockup, I have yet to decide whether to keep or not.

but if you do not like, edit ../gtk-3.0/gtk.css and seek

@import url("scrollbar.css");

replace with

@import url("scrollbar-classic.css");

 Color de la tipografia de la consola

Hola.

editar-> preferencias del perfil
tab "colores"

 Tweak

I made my own minor tweak of this for use with Ubuntu Unity. It makes the minimize button a double left arrow. Do you want to keep it as an alternate version on this post? It doesn't seem a big enough change to warrant it's own post. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/gLmHk.png

I've been thinking about your proposal, but I have in mind to change the metacity buttons to put more flat and not know what to do.

On the other hand, I do not take much to keep it as an option. Now I am preparing version 1.01 with a choice of dark theme, surely do something about

If you already have the png or svg could send them to me by mail? (is in the readme.txt). So I can go getting ahead work

 More minimal

I suggest you remove nautilus pathbar selected background and leave just bold font for current selected button.
BTW is it possible to make theme like this with gtk? http://narf41.deviantart.com/art/flatman-returns-329015075

The idea of the pathbar I like, is easily achieved by editing

../FlatStudioLight/gtk-3.0/gnome-applications-light.css

about line 116

#nautilus-search-button .button:active,
#nautilus-search-button .button:active:prelight,
NautilusWindow .primary-toolbar .toolbar .button:active,
NautilusWindow .primary-toolbar.toolbar .button:active,
NautilusWindow .primary-toolbar .toolbar .button:active:hover,
NautilusWindow .primary-toolbar.toolbar .button:active:hover {
.........
.........
.........

}

change
border-color: shade (@theme_bg_color, 0.85);
background-color: shade (@theme_bg_color, 0.85);

by
border-color: @transparent;
background-color: @transparent;

The theme of the link is KDE, and it's pretty much like this, maybe the dark bottom edge, but I have no sure if I like it
