 Congratulations! A small bug

 by valmar on: Jul 25 2012

Score 50%

Dear KEIII,

first of all, thanks for this theme. Together with GrayDay, it is one of the best GNOME3 themes.

I found out a couple of bugs that I would like to report.

The first happens with the GTK2 theme and "modal" dialogs. The top of the window has the wrong color, as one can see from this image:

http://s1162.photobucket.com/albums/q525/valmar73/?action=view&current=Adwaita-X-light.png

The second happens when you start an application from the terminal (for example, Nautilus). The following error is printed out:

(nautilus:20656): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: tweaks.css:5:1: '/*' in comment block

I hope this is useful and those small problems can be fixed. Thank you again

Valerio

I just wanted to note that the theme is also dependant on gnome-themes-standard package in Ubuntu. Tabs were displayed wrong until I installed it.

Thanks for your hard work! I'd like this theme very much.

There're some bugs for v.0.8.3:

1. Adwaita-X-light(dark)/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

line 19: gtk-color-scheme = ... \nfg_color:#2e3436;\n ...

should be ... \nfg_color:#2e3436\n ... (without ";")

2. Adwaita-X-light(dark)/gtk-3.0/settings.ini

line 2: the same as 1.

3. (suggestion) Adwaita-X-light(dark)/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

line 274-275:

bg[NORMAL] = "#343434"
fg[NORMAL] = "#ffffff"

had better be

bg[NORMAL] = @tooltip_bg_color
fg[NORMAL] = @tooltip_fg_color

to respect the gtk-color-scheme

Cause I want to change it to light bg for Eclipse in the beginning. I have modified the gtk-color-scheme but it didn't work. Finally I found they're also hard-coded in somewhere else.

Regards,

Chien

Than you!. This seems to have fixed the problem with the modal dialog in Unison (point 1 in my report above). Now I only have the problem in the Maximized Document window

This also affects me. The blue text on black background is unreadable in Eclipse.

Hope you can fix this, I really love that theme, good work man!

Just hover over a class or a variable name or anything else. If you see it you can press F2 to make it persistent. If you don't do this it disappears when you press "print" to take a screenshot.

Sorry, i thought this is a bug in your theme.

For me the easiest solution was to install the gnome-color-chooser package and change the tooltip colors back to bright bg and dark fg.

Thank you for the hint, it's readable now.

Do you mean Unity panel?
You can change it in Adwaita-X-light/gtk-3.0/apps/unity.css
