Could you please add the following to the gtk2-0/gtkrc file of the light variant so that Chromium's tab bar color is correct :

style "chrome-gtk-frame"
{
ChromeGtkFrame::frame-color = "#d5d5d5"
ChromeGtkFrame::inactive-frame-color = "#d3d3d3"

ChromeGtkFrame::frame-gradient-size = 16
ChromeGtkFrame::frame-gradient-color = "#c3c3c3"

ChromeGtkFrame::incognito-frame-color = "#d5d5d5"
ChromeGtkFrame::incognito-inactive-frame-color = "#d3d3d3"

ChromeGtkFrame::incognito-frame-gradient-size = 16
ChromeGtkFrame::incognito-frame-gradient-color = "#c3c3c3"
}

class "ChromeGtkFrame" style "chrome-gtk-frame"

 LibreOffice

There is a problem with LibreOffice menus, as you might already know. I filed a bug for this long time ago already with the LO devs, but they never solved it.

There is a suggestion however from another artist how to solve this problem in the theme. Please take a look at the reported bug here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38038

Thank for notice. I saw this report before. This suggestion fix LO menubar but makes pop-up menu broken. And I don't know how to apply this only for LibreOffice/OpenOffice menubar

What do you mean with the pop-up menu? Right-click context menu...?

Can't you borrow some code from another theme or isn't it that simple? Some themes doing this right are orion, shiki-colors and zukitwo-colors.

The rest of the theme is looking phenomenal, I like it a lot! I noticed that the menus or notifications that slide down from the titlebar in some applications in GTK2 applications look a bit weird at the top as well, the GTK3 variant is flawless however.

I talk about context menu like right-click menu and menubar drop down menu.

Do you suggest to make colored menubar selected item?

I never see before theme with white menubar selected item work correct.

I understand, you want the context menus to stay light. Your suggestion to make the menu item colored when clicked is indeed an option. It will be less pretty however I think, but that's up to you. I don't know if you could do this only for LO or have to do it for all apps...

Thanks anyway for the time and efforts! Your theme is superb.

 Changing the background color

 by Mr0Magoo on: Jun 11 2012

Score 50%

Hi KEII! First, thanks for your theme, especially the dark version! For me is best than the default Adwaita.

Today I was trying to change the background blue color for another in your theme, but after make some experimental changes without suceed in the gtk 3 theme (the changes in the gtk 2 worked), I started to think that I need to change the gtk.gresource file, but I don't now how. The files that I have changed in gtk-3.0 folder are the settings.ini and gnome-panel.css replacing, respectivelly, the nselected_bg_color and background-color default values for another.

So, could you make another versions from your theme with the background colors based on the icons theme "gnome colors" (something like the "Zukitwo Colors" http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Zukitwo-Colors?content=146290 ) or explain how I could make these changes?

Thanks and sorry for my english!

I don't know howto unpack resourse file, but you can open it in Gedit, for exmple:
$ gedit resource:///org/gnome/adwaita/gtk-main.css
