Description:

Gnome-Cupertino and Gnome-Cupertino-Mint for Gnome 3.6.x

The upgrade to 2.x (and name change) is a bit drastic, and it is because I had to practically the theme from scratch and make a decision to keep only one of the previous two L and SL. Another reason for name change is because the theme does not use the adwaita-engine over several versions.

Version for unity due to global-menu

* IMPORTANT *
- GTK3 theme: unico-engine is no longer necessary for the theme
- GTK2 theme: uses gtk2-engines-murrine and gtk2-engines-pixbuf
- Ubuntu 12.10 comes by default with gnome 3.6 and nautilus-3.4 (though you can upgrade to nautilus-3.6), but if you have nautilus-3.4, you must set the theme for nautilus-3.4, as explained in the readme.txt

- Inside the theme folder there is a readme.txt file with some really simple instructions (styles for nautilus, 4 tab styles, glassy buttons, Unity top panel white mac style, some fix)

Hope you like it for everyday use.

I recommend this fantastic icon themes:

or
Elementary icons theme

if you use Chrome, for the scroll bars

I need some information,
- You have the possibility to make a screenshot?
- The same applies to "Unity2D"?
- You have selected specific versions for Unity? (Adwaita Cupertino SL Unity or Adwaita Cupertino L Unity)

excuse my insistence, are you using "Adwaita Cupertino L" OR "Adwaita Cupertino L UNITY".

My impression is that you are not using the version specified for Unity
or
some kind of problem with the graphics card
or
missing some file in theme installation

is foreign to me what is happening

Marlin File Manager rename selection problem

by sadi on: Jan 25 2012

Score 50%

This has become my No. 1 Ubuntu Unity Theme recently.

Marlin is also becoming my No. 1 File Manager.

However, there's a weird problem that exists neither when I use Nautilus nor when I use other themes in Marlin.

When I try to rename a file, its name is automatically selected but it's not highlighted! There's no way of highlighting there, which makes renaming operation a little bit difficult.

I'll appreciate very much if this can be fixed.

Thank you very very much for this great theme!

Thank you.
As you might have already noticed, this problem doesn't exist in Adwaita.
So I hope this will help you find what's causing it without too much trouble.

 transparent top bar

Good to see your are so active improving an already shiny theme!
Only one downside for me though is that you no longer make the top bar transparent. I really hope you make this optional, like you did with the nautilus sidebar. Therefor i still use your older version. Only i miss all the touch ups you put in your new releases.

Thank you for all your work!

Making the top panel transparent with compiz is not the same result. You did a great job here, making it look identical like OSX.
Please bring it back..?
Thank you for all your work!

The transparent top bar is there, hidden, but is.

If you are using "Adwaita Cupertino SL Unity", replace the file "../Adwaita Cupertino SL Unity/gtk-3.0/unity.css" with "../Adwaita Cupertino SL/gtk-3.0/unity.css" and go (close and open session).
Same for "Adwaita-Cupertino-L-Unity.

In the next revision will put it as a customization option.

 Panel transparente

saludos

Siento la tardanza. He actualizado y me sucede lo mismo. Utilizo la versión L Unity, pero me sucede también con todas las demás. ¿Alguna idea? La verdad me jode bastante porque me encanta el tema xD. Muchas gracias por el curro ;) y también por tu veloz respuesta.
