Description:

Gnome-Cupertino and Gnome-Cupertino-Mint for Gnome 3.6.x

The upgrade to 2.x (and name change) is a bit drastic, and it is because I had to practically the theme from scratch and make a decision to keep only one of the previous two L and SL. Another reason for name change is because the theme does not use the adwaita-engine over several versions.

Version for unity due to global-menu

* IMPORTANT *
- GTK3 theme: unico-engine is no longer necessary for the theme
- GTK2 theme: uses gtk2-engines-murrine and gtk2-engines-pixbuf
- Ubuntu 12.10 comes by default with gnome 3.6 and nautilus-3.4 (though you can upgrade to nautilus-3.6), but if you have nautilus-3.4, you must set the theme for nautilus-3.4, as explained in the readme.txt

- Inside the theme folder there is a readme.txt file with some really simple instructions (styles for nautilus, 4 tab styles, glassy buttons, Unity top panel white mac style, some fix)

Hope you like it for everyday use.

I recommend this fantastic icon themes:

or
Elementary icons theme

if you use Chrome, for the scroll bars

Can u polish your theme with Brushed Gray color

by thongstele on: Apr 25 2012

Score 38%

Hello Traster,
I have 2 suggestions as follow:

1. polish your theme with brushed gray/metal (or color as in iTune panel color).
2. I use your theme in Elementary OS (Luna) and I see something is not good in look with the top panel. I want to make the panel (Luna call it as Wingpanel) smaller in size...Where is the code to change it in your theme? I wanna change something by myself. Please help me.

I don't think this theme will support Elementary OS and Wingpanel :)

After my experience to adapt the theme to the beta version of ubuntu, I get panic work with another beta version.
On the other hand is a distro that has done an excellent job with the GUI

 Evolution under Gnome 3.4

by alexcriss on: Apr 27 2012

Hi,

Loving your theme under Gnome 3.4 :) Unfortunately, I have problems with Evolution. There are two major issues:
- the background of the message pane is grey, instead of an expected lighter color;
- when I select text in the message pane or messages in the message list view the selection is not visible (i.e. the selected item doesn't turn blue ans stays grey, and is in fact undistinguishable from other messages or from unselected text).

Thanks as usual for this lovely theme :)

Apologies for the delay in responding.

I'm finishing the specific version for Gnome 3.4, publish it in few days and will be fixed the bug of Evolution.
I had the same problem in MediterraneanNight and it's fixed (v1.07)

Seems like author of this theme doesn't answer. But the way, good theme.
Maybe there is a gui way of editing gtk3 themes?

I had some problems at work and for a time I could not answer.
At the same time I am finishing the adaptation of my other theme (GrayDay) to gnome 3.4 that I hope and want to post today

Throughout this week I hope to have time available and publish the adaptation of this theme to gnome 3.4 and Ubuntu 12.04, that is also nearing completion with some interesting changes ;)

GTKwarning: not using units is deprecated using px

I have a lot of "GTKwarning: not using units is deprecated using px" in .xsession-errors, and for a developer or a bug reporter it's very anoying. Can you add units to your theme to avoid this warning?
Thank you
It's my favourite theme =)
Also, congratulations for your very good work.
