Description:

Gnome-Cupertino and Gnome-Cupertino-Mint for Gnome 3.6.x

The upgrade to 2.x (and name change) is a bit drastic, and it is because I had to practically the theme from scratch and make a decision to keep only one of the previous two L and SL. Another reason for name change is because the theme does not use the adwaita-engine over several versions.

Version for unity due to global-menu

* IMPORTANT *
- GTK3 theme: unico-engine is no longer necessary for the theme
- GTK2 theme: uses gtk2-engines-murrine and gtk2-engines-pixbuf
- Ubuntu 12.10 comes by default with gnome 3.6 and nautilus-3.4 (though you can upgrade to nautilus-3.6), but if you have nautilus-3.4, you must set the theme for nautilus-3.4, as explained in the readme.txt

- Inside the theme folder there is a readme.txt file with some really simple instructions (styles for nautilus, 4 tab styles, glassy buttons, Unity top panel white mac style, some fix)

Hope you like it for everyday use.

I recommend this fantastic icon themes:

or

if you use Chrome, for the scroll bars

http://www.glatelier.org/2011/10/tip-desactiva-el-overlay-scrollbar-en-ubuntu/

http://www.ubuntizando.com/2011/11/02/truco-desactivar-las-overlay-scrollbars-en-unity/

 Great work!

After getting away from Adwaita Cupertino just to find out that everything else just cannot cope with this, I came back a month or so ago. Just at that time, the previous maintainer of the Arch Linux package of the theme stopped caring for it, so I'm doing it now. (My first "real" Arch package btw.)
The latest update again improves it one step further, especially the Pidgin chat window with many tabs looks much cleaner now. Just keep working on it so that I don't get bored having nothing to package! :)

What do you think about reducing the height of tabs a little bit? I don't know what their width/height ratio looks like on OS X, but the Gnome/GTK buttons and tabs always feel a little clumsy in my opinion.

I feel the same as you, I'm trying to reduce the tabs from the beginning, but I can not (are always big).
in any case I'm researching how to make them smaller.

Thanks for your feedback :)

 Found some issues.

Hi,

I found some issues with eclipse. Some editor popups have light text on light background (try with Quick Type Hierarchy (CTRL+T)).

Also I feel the new tab design in dark theme uncomfortable because of inverted colors (active tab with sunken shadow). I think bumpy shadow could be better.

Overall, +1

Thanks

I will install "eclipse" for testing, give me some time to see what I can do (1 or 2 days).

With tabs, I can give you the option of returning to the above with a slight modification
