Submitted:  May 26 2011
Updated:  Jun 14 2013

Description:

This is Adwaita Elements, a theme inspired by Adwaita,Elementary & Clearlooks Revamp hence the name Adwaita Elements.

To fix the issue with the text of selected menu items in Firefox and
Thunderbird, copy the userChrome.css in both
~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/chrome/ and
~/.thunderbird/xxxxxxxx.default/chrome/

Changelog:

* GTK 3: .menu .menuitem
fixed background color
shrinked padding from 3px to 2px

---

* GTK3: Cleanups
Removed DND borders
Removed button active,focused borders

* GTK3: Added entries shadows
Added tab gradients

* Metacity:
New metacity theme based of Cleaner Adwaita Buttons

---

* Merged OSD from Adwaita

-----

* Fixed padding - GTK3 menuitem
* Fixed Nemo sidebar

------

Now supported by Gnome 3.8

* Fixed Menubar menuitem background with propery background-color: transparent;
this should also be done upstream in the Clearlooks Phoenix theme

* Fixed GTKIconView should affect applications like
gnome-control-center, cinnamon-control-center, pavucontrol etc

* Fixed nautilus desktop icons
* Fixed Frames
* Some scrollbar changes

(The right-click menu in nautilus, is displayed in a darker color, i'll look into to this as soon as possible)

---

* Fixed padding - GTK3 tabs
* Fixed padding - GTK3 menubar
* Fixed padding - GTK2 toolbar

---

* Fixed GTK2 Menu, and removed warnings
* Fixed GTK2 Tooltip fixed & Menus
* Fixed Menus & Scrollbars

---

Adwaita Elements is now based on the clearlooks-phenix,
note this is a preview release

* I want the theme buttons to look like the ones in the GTK2 theme, any help is nice =D

 bugs?

Hi, might have found a bug or two.

1.
If I open a new terminal as a tab the scrollbar changes?

2.
The theme are crash prone here when restarting the shell with alt+f2 "r" especially with a few application open e.g. firefox will do it for sure at least here. It will crash me to the opps logout screen. This use to happen a lot with the default GTK3 but I can't really get the default theme to crash anymore. Perhaps something changed in the original codebase?

Thanks for reporting this, i will surley look into this.

1. If I open a new terminal as a tab the scrollbar changes?

Ahh yeah, i can confirm that, i even also saw that Tabs looks aswell
*This should be fairly easy*, since i am going to make the tabs in Gnome-terminal transparent as well.

Just in case if you missed to see that i updated the Adwaiata Elements theme, i would just want to let you know that the foreground bug is fixed in the latest version of Adwaita Elements

Este debería ser el theme Oficial de Gnome Shell 3.x me gusta mucho más... que el original que trae por defecto.
