Changelog:

2014.05.23
- GTK3: Fixed CSD fallback menu button.
- GTK3: Fixed some other bugs and made some minor improvements.

2014.05.14
- GTK3: Fixed progressbar through.
- Assets: Better focused button border.

2014.04.26
- GTK3: Some minor bugfixes.

2014.04.13
- GTK3: Added support for unity client side decoration. (This package is still only for GTK 3.12 though. Ubuntu 14.04 uses GTK 3.10.)
- GTK3: Improved progressbars a bit.
- GTK3: Added the metacity buttons to the client side decorations.

2014.03.29
- Updated to work with Gnome 3.12.
Note: Don't upgrade if you're still using an earlier version of Gnome.
You can grab earlier versions here: https://launchpad.net/zukitwo/+series

2013.12.10
- Added an index.theme file.
- GTK3: Sidebar hover effect added in Nautilus/Nemo.
- GTK3/2: Various tweaks.
- Shell: Removed the arrow on the app-menu (and other stuff) to make it look like it did before 3.10.

2013.11.07
- GTK2: Thunar style added.
- GTK3: Fixed border below active tabs.

2013.10.27
- GTK3: Better column headers. Nemo fixes. Fixed fine-tune scrollbar.
- GTK2: Removed unused assets for outdated apps.

2013.10.17
- GTK3/Shell: A couple of fixes.

2013.10.12
- GTK3: Updated to work with Gnome 3.10. The theme will break in earlier versions of Gnome-shell. Grab earlier versions here: https://launchpad.net/zukitwo/+series
- Shell theme: Revamped (Again!). :-P

2013.04.24
- GTK3: Client Side Decoration CSS added. (For wayland.)
- GTK3: Support .rubberband in .content-view plus some more fixes.
- Mutter/Metacity: Fixed left aligned buttons and removed unused assets.

2013.04.18
- Mutter theme: Fixed a lot of stuff.
- Legacy metacity theme: New everything.
- GTK3: Improved scale troughs.

2013.03.29
- Mutter/Metacity: Previous release used the Zukiwi borders, this has now been fixed.
- Shell theme: New scrollbars and checkbuttons.

2013.03.28
- ALL: Updated to work with Gnome 3.8. If you use Ubuntu GNOME 13.04 (or 12.10) I would not recommend an upgrade. It should work, but there may be some issues with the gnome-shell theme because 13.04 will use Gnome 3.6 components.
- ALL: New borders, switches, sliders, progressbars etc. New look for menus and stuff in the gnome-shell theme.

2013.02.07
- GTK3/Mutter: Some minor bug fixes.

2013.02.06
- GTK3: Some bug fixes and some changes to the treeview list.
- GTK3: Nemo style added.
- GTK2: Fixes for xfce-panel. (May behave a bit inconsistent with some applets.)
- XFWM4: Left and right border now 2px in size because of a xorg or driver bug that made them invisible.

2012.12.16
- GTK3: New switch buttons. Active focus border added. Better tabs and column headers. Some other minor fixes.

2012.12.11
- Shell theme: Some fixes and default font changed from Liberation to Droid. (Make sure to include ttf-droid to the depends if you're maintaining a package of this.)
- GTK3/GTK2: Separators added to menus.
- GTK3: Improved button borders.
- GTK3: Some other minor fixes and tweaks.

2012.12.07
- Unity: Changed the panel color to match the rest of the theme, plus added the new buttons.
- GTK3: Osd support added.
- GTK3: Several fixes and some minor changes.

2012.12.04
- GTK3: Some minor improvements and bug fixes.
- Shell theme: Switch buttons now visible again.
- XFWM4: Updated the theme to the new look. (If you don't have any left or right borders see: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54168 )

2012.12.02
- GTK3/GTK2/Metacity: Some bug fixes.
- GTK3: Some minor improvements to linked buttons and entrys.

2012.12.01
- GTK3/Shell: Updated to work with Gnome (GTK+) 3.6. Will break in any earlier or later versions of Gnome.
- Shell theme: Changed the previous look on buttons and borders etc. Made the panel a bit darker.
- Mutter: New buttons taken from my previous Zukiwi theme.

Note: Because Gnome 3.6 is the worst release of Gnome so far - this theme no longer contains Zukitwo-Dark. I had no motivation to maintain it any longer. There are also plenty of old and new bugs plus regressions.

This theme also no longer requires the Unico GTK3 engine.

... Purged changelog.

2011.04.05
- First release.

 FC19 issues

 by m00z on: Apr 20 2014

Score 50%

I upgraded Fedora 18 to Fedora 19 and I'm experiencing some problems with the theme when using mate-desktop that did not exist in my previous distro release. When I click on the applet in the mate-panel the window colors that I had defined in the appearance settings are not being honored, and thus are being defaulted to the white/blue color theme while everything else is the colors that were chosen in the theme settings. I'm also experiencing the same issue when using the audio player "audacious". Is anyone else having the same issue? I tried building the version from Fedora 20+ but still had the same problems. Really like this theme and would like to continue using it, this is kinda driving me nuts though..

Sorry, the issue with the applet is in relation to the network-manager-applet (nm-applet)

I also tried to rebuild the latest version of network-manager-applet from the Fedora 18 repositories for my current release to see if it would make any different and it hasn't, so I'm not sure if the application itself is what to blame, trying to figure out what other packages I could rebuild to see if it would make a difference, obviously since the earlier and latest releases of your theme don't seem to help the problem..

If the applications are GTK3 they won't apply GTK2 settings from Mate's appearance editor.

The theme is broken in Chrome on Fedora 20 with Gnome 3.12. The default Adwaita, meanwhile, works fine. Am I missing something, an engine, a library?
Thanks for any tips, I'd really like to be able to use this.

Window title font is gray/hard to read

Hi, I just installed Zukitwo theme on my 14.04 machine and everything is great except the window title font when maximized or when showing the application title. Is there any way to make it black to match the rest of the window title? Here's a pic to show what I'm dealing with.

Ubuntu 14.04 user GTK 3.10 which is not compatible with the latest version of Zukitwo.

You could use this one (from gnome3.10-2 branch).
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~lassekongo83/zukitwo/gnome3.10-2/tarball/15?start_revid=15

I use it on my Ubuntu 14.04 and it works fine.

I think GitHub repo is more up to date. Its last commit was 2014-05-04, while Bazaar's last mod was 2014-02-13.

Strange, my Ubuntu 14.04 displays the window title in black, but I have a very minor problem in that transition between titlebar and toolbar is not as smooth as in your screenshot ;-)
Nevertheless this the BEST theme for Ubuntu 14.04 at the moment, even better than Ambiance which doesn't look good in GTK2 apps.

Wrong button on fallback app menu on CSD apps

When I run an app with CSD in Xfce the icon for the fallback app menu is the same as the close button. The icon should be a circle with a ring around it, like in the Adwaita theme.

Can you provide more information on what apps you use? Any XFCE settings to get a "fallback app menu"?

I currently just have file-roller installed in my xfce WM and it just displays a common menubar below the CSD titlebar and nothing else out of the ordinary.

I understand what you mean now. This could be tricky or impossible to fix unless I completely remove the CSD buttons. I can only fix this for people using window buttons on the right side. So Ubuntu users would get a menu icon there instead of a close icon as it should be for them.

Hmm...

A fix for xfce users would simply be manual intervention as for now. Open gtk-main.css and change:
@import url("window-controls.css");
to
/*@import url("window-controls.css");*/
