Very nice! Clean looking, and stylish fonts. I'm using 1366x768 resolution and it works great. I also appreciate when someone's "easy" instructions are actually easy. Good job documenting!

 "uknown variable" fix

 by mguthrie88 on: Nov 11 2010

There's an open set of comment tags on the clock_rings.lua script (line 186) that causes an "unknown variable" error every second if you start this conky instance from the shell. I deleted the open set of brackets and that seemed to take care of it. Just an FYI for the next release.

Great conky config though, now I just need to find a sweet background to go with it! ; )

Get it.

The reason for the 'unknown variable-error' are the 'empty' rings at the cpu bar. They are just for decoration and don't have any variables. So every time, when the script updates, this error message will come. But it's not a bug, it's a feature and shouldn't disturb.

greets,
ken :)

 Last updated line not showing

 by ubuntunerd1010 on: Nov 23 2010

Hi,
Thank you for making this wonderful set of Conky scripts. My setup is working flawlessly except for one thing: the last line is simply showing the character 'a' instead of the last updated and station info etc. I've included a link to a screenshot (http://imgur.com/iChd1.png) so you can see the problem. (By the way, 1280x800 res works just fine)

If you could, can you help me determine how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi,
I figured out the problem. In the weather file (in the Conky folder) the text_buffer_size is set to 2048 bytes. The output though is usually a little more. So, all I had to do was increase that and now everything shows up.
