It comes with GUI completly translated in Croatian, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Romanian, Russian, Slovakian, Spanish and Traditional Chinese (it will be auto-picked according to your system language (defaults to english if there's no translation in your language, but also it allows you to change it to any other)).

DEPENDENCIES

zenity (for displaying GUI)
md5sum, sha1sum and sha256sum (most distros have them by default)
xdg-user-dirs-update (most distros have this by default)

HOW TO INSTALL/UNINSTALL

TRANSLATION

If you wish to translate Hash Checker into your language, you can take a look at Hash Checker's pack. Extract it and open it's folder. Inside it you'll find "files" folder and "Translation" file in it. Also, you can download "Translation" file from this site, which might be better idea, since it is up-to-date.

Changelog:

Please, read the readme file for full Hash Checker's changelog.

What's new in v4.0.7

Added: Finnish language
Added: Integration into MATE's Caja (right-click > scripts > (nautilus >) hash checker script name)
Removed: Stupid *~ (backup) files
Fixed: Detecting if localized version available (sorry folks, it was pretty STUPID bug)
Fixed: Double results in result dialog box when checking the same file twice (without closing HC first)
Changed: In uninstall dialog "WARNING!!!" replaced with "Uninstall?"
Changed: HC's icon a bit improved/smaller in size
Changed: Result text files changed extension from .txt into .*sum
Changed: Other minor changes

Known issues:
KDE

Desktop folder in KDE4 doesn't work with Hash Checker's desktop icon (default's to ~/Desktop)
ALL
"Google it" function doesn't work in any distro that doesn't have xdg-user-dirs(-update) package installed. Luckily most distros do! :)

Made few necessary changes in Install script code, and I'm working on adding switches for faster installation with default settings for selected language.
If it doesn't hit next version (3.8.1) it will be introduced in one of next versions.
Until then I'm working on French and German scripts, Install script is allready ready for those. :)
Also I found one strange issue that can be avoid, but I'm trying to fix it anyway.

Stay tuned, as next version might soon be available, shouldn't take more than 5-6 days. :)

Cheers!

Issue that occured in new version is allready fixed, and new search method gives less but more accurate results (confirmed by few of my test crew members).
Now it's final bug tracking/testing time.
New version should be available in few days, until my test crew does its work. :)

Gentlemen, ladies prefer your pants down and heads up! So stay tuned! ;)

Few bugs in 3.8, fixed 'em all

In new 3.8.1 there will be few bugfixes from previous version which I found. Nothing to worry about, just in this one case it doesn't recognize "empty" file, and also it skips to delete old hash files in that same case.
Bugfixes will be noted only in croatian and english readme files, for the rest it will be available in next version (most likely in v3.8.2), because I allready got readme files translated, and I'm preparing it to upload (just few more tests for each lang).

Version 3.8.1 should be available in a day or two. Thanx for your support! Please do vote (good) for my work! ;)

Some time today I recived another translation - Greek! Unfortunately, I'm not sure it will be available in v3.8.1 which should be out soon (just waiting for French readme update).
But, since it's here, I'll try my best to release it in this one.
Other translators, please wait a bit, until new version is out. It should be here very soon!

Cheers,
Cooleech
