There are two icons yet:

1. Google Earth -> I think that, from wich it's a proprietary software (not open), the icon is not changed automatically..

2. Ubuntu Tweak -> it's strange.. i use this software and the icon is right changed!

For other icons, wait the next version.. :D

One question: what name has icon related to smc?

If you don't know how to discover it, use those two methods:

1. go to applications->games->smc; right click on it; click over "Add this launcher to the panel"; right click on the icon that rises on the panel and tell me the command that launchs application

2. go to /usr/share/icons ; type ctrl+F; type something like "smc" (or the command find in the previous step), press enter, and see if there is an icon with that name

Thanks! :D

For Wesnoth the command is wesnoth-nolog (without space)
and for it's map editor the command is wesnoth -e (with space)
thanks for your fast reply :)

Icon for wesnoth is made, the only problem is to find a correct name!

 Suggestions

by Douwtjeh on: Aug 16 2010

Score 50%

Works very well, although the scripts could do with a few more checks if folders aren't already present etc.

I've got a few requests though:

- a gray version of the ubuntu-tweak icon
- icons for:
- Shutter
- Catalyst Control Center
- Pinta Image Editor
- Simple Scan
- LottaNZB
- GnuCash
- Kile
- Matlab
- Python
- Canorus
- Musescore
- Some more games

I realize these aren't all widely used programs, so it's not a big deal if they're not done, I just thought I'd suggest them.

Some of those icons are added to the iconset (or are already present)..for the others, wait the next 1.1 version, because when you've made the request, I've already created the download archive! :D

 Dark set

You have included a dark theme index file in the archive, but the dark icon folder is missing. Have you removed it completely from the theme, or is it available as another theme?

Anyway, I must say that it is one of the most amazing and complete GTK icon theme I have ever used. Keep up the great work.

I've included it because I forgot to remove it.. :D

I've the purpose to design a darker version, but in this phase I'm taking care of the lighter version, from wich I want to solve all bugs and then develop the dark part of the set (or the moon? :D).

So for now there is only a light version, and sincerely I don't know when I'll release the dark version (and if I'll release it as a part of this theme or as another icon theme).

However, thanks for compliments!:D

 Issue with OpenOffice

by volnei on: Aug 17 2010

Score 50%

Hi, thanks for the great work!

When I launch any file with OO, the correct AwOken-themed-icon appears on the notification area at AWN dock. But, once I minimize it, the icon instantly changes to another one, the "old" system default, I guess. And there is no way to make it appear as it should again; even trying to set a "custom icon" via AWN preferences is useless. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 and ElegantGnome 0.5.0, wich ships the version 0.9 of AwOken (althoug this behavior was present in all previous versions I've tried). If you need some other info, please let me know.

Perhaps it's a problem with awn (I hope it's a problem with awn :D).

Try to go to DockPreferences -> TaskManager -> Icons and select "Use Best Quality Icons", and say me if it's go right!

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, I already have the "Use best quality icons" option selected... Works perfectly on all other cases, except this.

Just to mention, I've already uninstalled completely OOffice, deleted the ".openoffice" folder in my /home an then reinstalled everything. No joy.

Any other ideas?
