 Icon theme fixes

by arobase on: Aug 2 2010

Score 50%

Hi, I got some bug reports for you, hope you will fix this.

1. In new version(0.9) you've added bunch of 24x24 icons, and the problem is that status icons now looks blurry.

2. There is a social menu in Ubuntu Lucid, and it needs 24x24 status icons with names:
- applications-chat-panel.png(same icon as for tray-online.png)
- applications-email-panel.png(same icon as for /actions/mail-send.png
And the last icon should be in 22x24/categories
- applications-microblogging-panel.png(same icon as for apps/gwibber.png)

3. By default, The Shutdown icon has the red color, but for Ubuntu Lucid users, red shutdown icon means that they should restart their system, so i think this is a good idea, to make shutdown button grey, and add next icons in "actions":
- system-shutdown-panel.png(same icon as grey shutdown icon)
- system-shutdown-panel-restart.png(same icon as red shutdown icon)
- system-shutdown-restart-panel.png(same icon as red shutdown icon)

Also i forgot to say, that applications-internet icon now colored and it looks not really good, coz the rest of category icons are grey.

1. Can you take a screenshot? Thanks

2. I know, I'll fix this from the 1.0 version

3. There is an option in the customization script to make shutdown icon gray! :D

4. for applications-internet there is yet an icon, but the option in the script will be added only from the next version (from the next version there will be an option to change all icons from colored to grayed)

Top image - how it was in beta 2 and the bottom image is how it's now.

Also take a look at Opera icon, coz it doesn't work, it got name "opera.png", but if i'm not mistaken, opera icon should be named as "opera-browser.png"

No no!
Sorry, I didn't intend this! :D

However, for the blur of the icons it's strange..I haven't heard anybody that has the same issue!

The only thing that comes to mind is trying to increase (or decrease) panel height and see what happens..or trying to change gtk theme!

If this not works, the only thing is changing the icontheme.cache, or removing all icons in 24x24px size that don't care to you.. :)

Ok, as soon as version 1.0 will be released, i'll check this again, maybe I just messed up somewhere.

Just a small request from me: an icon for "docky", of course if it's possible.
