Did you use latest 2.0 version? Template icon should be fixed.. :S

Anyway, to what is related the icon with a big "L" on the desktop? And the icon on the unity launcher, showing a webcam?

Ah ah I didn't figured out those icons! :)

I really don't know, I'm not using natty so I don't know. Maybe this happens also with other iconthemes, or default iconthemes like humanity? If so, it's an issue with natty or ambiance.

However, with newer version you should fix the templates icon.. ;)

 Icons for Gnome3

I think if you added better icons for the Gnome 3 Shell it would be perfect! I love your icon set and have been using it for a year now. I think it's very elegant and classy!

Hi! Thanks for the compliments, really appreciated!

Anyway, I never used gnome3 (even if I plan to use it since I'll upgrade my lucid to natty) so I really don't know how AwOken iconset looks with gnome-shell.

So, to change only gnome shell icon, I should have a further hand: could you please signal me an iconset in wich only gnome shell icon is changed? So I can copy the correct name and create a gnome-shell icon in my own iconset! :)

I am not using your theme right now, but I assume he means the tray icons in the top right. Right now in gnome shell most icon themes mess these up and use incorrectly sized icons and/or don't change all the icons.

I know the problem, but for now I can't do more since I'm not using gnome3 so I can't figure out how to fix the problem. Actually I didn't think about this because I'm focusing on doing a kde port; maybe in future I'll fix the problem (surely before Ubuntu 11.10)!!

I know your pain man! Its not your fault! :) I'm still trying to finish the new Gnome2 version of my theme (I've made major changes). I haven't even had time to look at Gnome3 yet! I can't seem to get a break! Right when I'm done with that it's off to Gnome3 Port.

Unfortunately, it's a never ending work man.. every couple of months there's some update that destroy the compatibility of your current icontheme and you have to restart from scratch.. it's really tough! :(

Hi!

You did a great job with those icons, but it would be great if you add a Skype icon too :)

Cheers

Error when upgrading from ppa on Ubuntu 10.10

by McBurri on: Jul 9 2011

When I try to upgrade from v.2.0 to 2.1 I get this message:

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/awoken-icon-theme_2.1~ppa1~maverick1_all.deb:
can not install the new version "/usr/share/icons/AwOken/clear/128x128/drive-harddisk/SSD.png"

I'm using PPA modality and I get a similar message:

"E: /var/cache/apt/archives/awoken-icon-theme_2.1~ppa1~lucid1_all.deb: unable to install new version of `/usr/share/icons/AwOken/clear/128x128/places/s11/folder-science.png'"

So now the PPA won't update. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Never mind. I simply uninstalled 2.0 and was able to install 2.1 without issue.
