Screenlets icon is already present, but you must run the script called "customize.sh" to change this, because unfortunately it doesn't change by itself.

Simple Scan is present in a "colored" modality, I must draw ad "uncolored" version but for me the colored version is ok.. I know that scanner (and printer) icon are too detailed for the style of the theme, but I like them a lot, and I don't have in mind to change them! :D

for other icons, consider them done from the next version! :D

 Ubuntu 10.10

Just installed your icon set via the PPA in Ubuntu 10.10, followed the instructions using the awoken-icon-theme-customization command, it goes through the config file and refreshes it, but I don't see any results? Any tips?

***************************************************************************************************
This is the final version of the customization script for AwOken icon set.
Current Release: 1.3
With little steps, it helps customizing the set
***************************************************************************************************
Reading config...
It seems that this script was run from /usr/share/icons/AwOken folder. So you've installed the set from ppa and you're running correctly the script. Good choice.
***************************************************************************************************
There is AwOken configuration file (located in /home/ethan/.AwOkenrc) that comes with 1.2 Version.
From this version this file is used only to refresh quickly your configuration settings.
Do you want to refresh your configuration settings? (y/n)
y
Your choice was Yes.
Now I'll read from this file and refresh your iconset preferences.
***************************************************************************************************
RECOVERY SCRIPT
This part is still under testing, so it's more than welcome any detection of any bug you'd find.
My mail is 'alecive87@gmail.com'

Fresh_install option is set to no. So this not a fresh install, other options are already changed. I stop here the recovery process.
If you want that other options run, just change the last option in the customization file.
But it's at your own risk! :S

Try to remove folder located in ".icons/AwOken" and file named ".AwOkenrc" (both in your home). Then, try to re-run the script and re-configure the set! :D

PS: for icons, consider them done from the next version!

I'm glad that all is gone right with such a simple trick!

PS: from the next version I'll add an option like this -> "Something is wrong? Choose this option" (that will do simply what I suggested before, but so it's simpler for me finding real bugs, and for users getting a theme that works! :D)

 Customize script minor fix

by simplistic on: Oct 14 2010

Score 50%

Hello

You need to comment out these lines in your customize.sh script. If you don't, you can only change one thing, because if you change another, the copy blows away the first change:

if [ $ICONSDIR = "/usr/share/icons/AwOken" ];then
cp -dpRf $ICONSDIR "$HOME/.icons"
fi

The recover.sh script always calls the customize.sh script with /usr/share/icons/AwOken.

Awesome icons set.

You're right, but (I do not why) in my version this part is like this:

if [ $ICONSDIR = "/usr/share/icons/AwOken" ];then
if [ ! -d $HOMEDIR ]; then
cp -dpRf $ICONSDIR "$HOME/.icons"
fi
fi

so doing this it copies iconset only once! Maybe I've done an error uploading the set.. :(

Excellent theme, it looks really really nice indeed, and the config script works wonderfully.

Can I request a few more apps to add, though?

TweetDeck
Spotify
ZSNES
GFCE Ultra
Simple Scan

Thanks much!

Thanks!

For spotify, there is an icon, but probably that app doesn't use ubuntu standard naming (or being a proprietary software, it uses it's own icon). Unfortunately I don't know the exact name because in Italy it's not downloadable yet. If you help me in this, I'll be glad to use the correct name! Right-click in the application menu -> Modify menu -> search about spotify icon -> click on "propriety" (in the right column) -> click on icon in the window that opens, and tell me the path of the icon!!

For simple scan, I'll upload a grayed version from the next version (there is already a colored version [as for printer icon], but not the grayed!). But unfortunately those icons will change only with the color-no color option. What do you think about adding another option!?

For other icons, consider them done from the next version!
