Description:

Rhythmbox mockup

This is the way I imagine Rhythmbox, the GNOME Music Player.
The original interface has a lot of space unused and, in my opinion, too many menus.

Some ideas were \"stolen\" from Elementary-nautilus and the New Rhythmbox interface.

Let me know what do you think about my idea.

 Nice Mockup!

And theme, what theme you use to make this mocup?

And one more thing: about the sidebar, i think that if there is just icons, making the side bar thin, will look better! and should have others kinds of views, like Songbird (there is media flow, aubum view, etc.)

Thanks!!!

I used a theme I am creating, maybe I will publish it in the future.

The sidebar should of course be different (including for example the cover art), but I think that using only icons can be confusing.
You can even include some other stuffs, as you said, but I did not include them simply because I do not use them....

Unified is a close matching theme for this mockup.

The only thing I think that would be useful is the equalizer.
By the way, this mockup is very clean I like it :)

Ubuntu is an old African word, it means "I am a stupid shit, I don't know how to netinstall Debian"

This is a great idea; it's modern, clean, & fresh looking but also original. It's not a ripoff of how Apple applications usually look but it has the same simple, yet elegant interface that Apple applications have.
I'd love to see this implemented in Rhythmbox!
