I came across a small issue, the contrast of progressbars under app such as Transmission is very hard to see.

It is transmission problem, not theme's. That application is not using widget GtkProgressbar. If you can't see, you can resolve problem for you. Open in gimp .../Silent Night II light/gtk-2.0/ListHeaders/list_header-prelight.png and add some lightness.

I know, right!
My shxt is all dark.
I run your Silent Night II theme,
NASA Night Launch FF theme, and
Tragedy (Kubuntu color scheme)!

Between the three, my screen is pretty dark. One small issue, and not sure the source or cause (or combo), but some input fields are black-on-black! Not such a big deal, I just enter some text, then highlight to confirm its good.

The wallpaper for the theme, did you create it, if so can you make a version for Linux Mint?

 Open Office issue

looks great. there is one issue with open office apps, all of the icons on the toolbar are replaced with words for example the bold option is normally "B" but is now "Bold"

It is Openoffice bug with dark themes and some distros. You can try some google solution, or you can do some trick. Open .../Silent Night II/gtk-2.0/styles/oo file in text editor, and between third and fourth line put this line: bg[NORMAL] = "#272727"
