How to use it:

Download and unpack tar.gz archive to the ~/.icons/flags directory.

run gconf-editor and set the flag: /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/indicator/showFlags

Also you may want to create your own layout icon... use gnome.layouts.draft.svg (packed into archive).

I've done what you indicate in the instructions, but I don't see the flags anywhere. I do have the keyboard layout widget enabled in my gnome panel. Is that where it should show up? I'm still just seeing the plain text indicator.
