whoa, 16 megabytes. These icons look great, just what I need, but the size is deterring me from downloading right this minute. it might be for others, too, but it's not a huge deal. I'm a little linux naive, so I'm not sure... but can you compress this some more plz?

it would be exactly 2mb's smaller(14.2mbs) if put into a tar.gz file which would make it easier to install anyways.

 Let's fixing errors ... :)

We have to correct two important things:

1. You have to clean all unused Defs in your SVG-source (file). It means:
One of your svg haves 221kb. After cleaning it haves only 16,5kb!!! :o

:)

2. Your SVG-files are autoexecuteable. Correct it always with this simple codes in your Terminal:

find * -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
find * -type f -exec chmod -x {} \;

You have to be in the svg-directory. ;)

At least:
Maybe it would be a good idea to begin with a changelog....

Cheers

:) All right. But I hope you understood point 1 and 2.
Point 1. will reduce the package-size a lot and point 2. will correct the file-rights. ;)

If you haven't understand me, don't worry, I will try to explain simpler if you want/need. :)

Cheers

"yes I would like understand the point 2 please."

- Open a Terminal
* cd Black-Gnome
* cd scalable
* cd actions
* find * -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
* find * -type f -exec chmod -x {} \;
* cd ..
* cd animations
* find ... ... etc.

Till you did with all. This will correct the file-rights in your iconset.

"for the point 1, if you compress in tar.bz2 size's theme is 7,6 Mio."

The compress of the package isn't important. More important is a light svg-file. :) Open the svg-file with inkscape and go in "Dates" and click on *clean empty Defenitions (Defs)". Do it with all your svg-files and with the news your are creating before saving. ;)
The svg-file will be for ca. 80% lighter. If you have done the compression will be something like 3-4 MB. :D

Good luck. :)
