openSUSE icons: (you can find in your openSUSE installation)
PCLinuxOS icons: (you can find in your PCLinuxOS installation)
Ultimate Edition icons: (you can find in your Ultimate Edition)

All credits to their authors!!

Thanks to luciefer (L.S.), simunic (simu nic) and Taylor L-Wren (ripps818) for their great help!
Thanks to all who given feedback to me !

It's especially composed for Ubuntu Linux, openSUSE Linux, PCLinuxOS Ultimate Edition and Mandriva. Sorry, but I can not make icons for all other distributions. Every distribution have an own menu with own icons. Maybe I will make more icons for other Linux distributions in the future. And maybe you will test it on your distribution and give me feedback?

It is not complete! Please test it and give me feedback to make it better! I need help! Tell me please which icons you need (If you know where I can find these and the correct name)!

It looks better with dark themes/dark menu!

Some themes are using too small icon sizes for the menu. It looks not so good. You can change this in the gtkrc file of every theme.
For example: gtk-icon-sizes = "panel-menu=20,20.... or gtk-icon-sizes = "20,20"

!!! Some icons in different distributions you must adjust yourself: Screenlets, Picasa, Widelands, nvidia-settings, Google Chrome, gShutdown, Emerald, Scite, PyKaraoke,AcetoneISO and many others... look for these icons in folder scalable/apps and subfolders (32, 48, 64). You can change these icons with your menu manager (left click on start menu).

Changelog:

0.0.1 -> first preview (alpha)

0.8.0 -> first release (beta)

0.8.5 -> changed more action icons (the icons which you can see on right click), mimetype icons, add some new icons, some icons are changed complete

1.1.0 -> ~ 70 new application icons (some games, email, applets...), changed package format to .tar.gz

1.1.5 -> ~ 30 new icons (applications,applets), removed unused icons, better scaled weather icons

1. open nautilus as root (type sudo nautilus in a terminal) and change to /usr/share/pixmaps and make a backup of the cpufreq-applet folder (rename the folder to cpufreq-applet_2)

2. extract the downloaded package and move the new folder to /usr/share/pixmap

3. relogin or open a terminal and type: killall gnome-panel

4. Now the new icons are visible.

Please don't wake me, I'm working!
