Description:

This is a theme for "Impulse - PulseAudio visualizer", one of the most amazing pieces of eye candy. Impulse screenlet includes several themes, among them, the one that I like the most is "circle lcd", but it has no means for configuration but the color.

This theme, is an upgraded version where most of the options can be modified, and includes three extra caracteristics:
- Spiral shape
- Logaritmic response
- Rotation

Install:
1) Download and install "Impulse - PulseAudio visualizer" (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Impulse+-+PulseAudio+visualizer?content=99383).
2) Copy the theme into the folder "/home/***/.screenlets/Impulse/themes/".
3) Display your screenlet using Screenlets Manager.

Sorry it works very good, just have to change value in option (Spiral factor and logarithmic amplitude and factor). They are disable by default !

Thanks a lot, I never thought about enabling the extra features to avoid confussion. I have uploaded an updated version where these features are enabled by default.

Your enthusiasm is appreciated, and makes me happy to know about some one else who is enjoying this wonderful screenlet with my little contribution.

Really great! However no need to rewrite over old theme, just change old theme name to, for example, circle lcd-old, and you can have both of them!

 Hard to "grab" or right-cklick

Hello. I have a hard time grabbing this layout to move it or right cklick on it to change settings.

Can I somehow make this easier? For now, when I want to change this I have to completely remove it and add it agin to reset impulse screenlet settings. Then Right click and change settings. Not closing the option window until I'm finished.

Maybe I turned opacity to low.. Is there another way of getting to the option window beside right click on it?

I don't have this trouble with the other themes for impulse.

At least in my case, your upgrade for this screenlet use much CPU when logarithmic and spiral works ...

i only mention it if it could help you to improve this great screenlet...
