 Frannoe

by Frannoe on: Oct 30 2012

Score 50%

Congratulations on this great project ... fantastic, I love DockBarX!
Since leaving Unity and needed a panel.
Thank you very much for making support MATE

I have to make a consideration about Compiz:
For option Dodge Windows to work properly you need to disable the plugin Gentle positioning move windows.
Otherwise, when you drag the window and touch the edge of the panel, panel is not hidden, until the window is dropped...

 MATE

Everything I can find about running this on MATE suggests that instructions for making it work are in the readme, but the web-page linked to in the readme no longer exists.
Actual instructions in the readme, please?

 Multi-monitor bug

by BenjaminSutton on: Jan 19 2013

Score 50%

When closing a window on a second monitor with dockx:
Quote:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/dockbarx/dockbar.py", line 475, in __on_window_closed
dock.remove_window(window)
File "/usr/bin/dockx", line 930, in remove_window
del self.border_distances[window]
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/weakref.py", line 253, in __delitem__
del self.data[ref(key)]
KeyError: <weakref at 0x2980c58; to 'wnck.Window' at 0x28170f0>

Window closes but entry in window list isn't removed, reffreshing does nothing; full dockx restart needed.

Extremely reactive~

other than that.

 LM15 Cinnamon

by Renbad on: Jul 14 2013

Everything works great on Mint 15 (Cinnamon), except the previews don't show the windows. They only show either an icon or a blank space.

Any ideas?
