Themeing is coming but you'll have to wait a few releases. Long feature list to implement. :)

 .41 breaks my desktop

i loved the look of .40 it fits in well with he default gnome desktop which I will still be using even after gnome shell comes out. is there a hidden setting i can change to get the old look back? also the new look seems a little unpolished.

I have to agree with the above comment. DockbarX is a fantastic creation that I no longer want to live without, but 0.41 does indeed "break" the nicely integrated feel that 0.40 had with the rest of my environment.

The thing is that I can't go back to 0.40 because I'll miss the close button on window previews too much :P

Having said all that, it's your app. You don't need me to tell you that. You make it the way you want it as would I if it was mine. That's as it should be. I'm just hoping that my comments might help motivate you to make it as awesome as possible for the largest number of people possible :)

Anyway, I'll continue to use it regardless. It's impressive stuff.

 adjusting the distance

Is there a way to adjust the distance between icons?
It seems that the icons are places too far apart

That is depends on the theme. See minimalistic or old for themes where the icons sits close together.

Alternatively you can edit the theme you want to use yourself to something that suits you. It's mainly the gap and aspect_ratio of button_pixmap that needs to be adjusted to decrease the distance between the icons.

 0.42 bug?

by lokisunablebeach on: Dec 26 2010

item "Close" in right-click menu doesn't work (nothing happens while clicked) "close all windows" doesn't work too. That's for any application I tried. Red cross in window perview works fine. How can I make it work? thx :)

Your right. I seem to have forgotten that to add a underline in the name. Small stupid bug. :) I put out a bug fix release immediately.
