What way did you install dockbarx for awn? Did you copy the files manually to ~/.config/awn/applets or did you install dockbarx for awn via the ppa as well?

If you did the later, perhaps you have installed it manually at some other time? You might then have to remove ~/.config/awn/applets/DockbarX.desktop and /awn/applets/DockbarX folder.

If you installed manually, did you do it again for x.0.39.7?

YaY it works now, thank you :)
It seems that i accidentally started the dockbarx applet twice.
Btw, the popup window delay you implemented fixed a minor bug i experienced that sometimes closed the popup when i tried to select a window. Thanks for that and your help :)

Doh! I don't know when and how but it seems like I've managed to simply remove the line that executes the group button action on double click. :o

Thanks for reporting!

The icon name is - as one can guess - dockbarx.

Sorry, I've found it.

But why the icon is in /usr/local/share/icons and not in /usr/share/icons/hicolor as usual?

It shouldn't be. The setup script and the latest deb-file from ppa both installs them in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/[SIZE]/apps/

No, sorry, the setup.py actually installs them in /usr/local/share/icons/hicolor/[size]/apps. That's because the install script only specifies share/icons/hicolor/[size]/apps as the install path and dist-utils chooses what the correct place for the installation should be and that is apparently /usr/local/ and not /usr.

 Drag and drop problem

 by haha405 on: Aug 15 2010

Score 50%

I'm on Arch linux now and find that drag and drop for grouped windows doesn't work.

If there is only one window opened, dragging a file and hovering over an icon will pop up that window.

But if there are more than one window in that group, no window will pop up and the preview disappears upon mouse leaving the icon.

I'm using x.0.39.7.

Or maybe a bug. I dunno.

When a window is given the skip taskbar hint after its creation, it is not removed from the dockbar. I don't think this is a problem for Compiz, but for any other window manager in combination with Devil's Pie, it doesn't work as expected.
