INTRODUCTION

This is an Usplash theme built on Ubuntu 7.10 but currently tested on 7.04 and 6.10.

Best effects are reached at 1024x768 and non-quiet mode (as explained on ReadMe).

 Very cool

It works fine on 7.04 using the Startup Manager.

I had to remove quiet and vga=792 from my kernel line for it to work.

hello. i tryed your alpha2 version on my 1024x768, but the result was saying, there is no theme/picture for such resolution. then i tryed the alpha1 and everything goes fine (just the problem with vga=791). so - in the alpha2 is not the splashscreen in 1024x768 resolution?

It seems strange to me because from alpha1 to alpha 2 I just changed a line for the text color and nothing about resolution...they are exactly the same theme... Could you please try to reinstall the newer version ? It sounds really strange ... if the alpha 1 works the alpha 2 should work as well. However they are completely the same theme so you can also continue using the alpha 1.

How hard would it be to remove the "now booting linux" and add the ubuntu logo script?
Or would that even look good?

 Slight problem

Ok, I looks great and works almost perfect. The only thing is I noticed that when I first boot up there is boot-up info that fills the whole screen for a couple seconds before the comptus screen shows up. Is there any way to get rid of the initial text?
Thanks!
