WARNINGS

This is just the first pre-release version of the installer, use it at your own risk. I\'ll be very grateful for feedbacks and requests.

WHAT?

This is my first attempt on creating a .deb file for automatic installation of graphic themes.

HOW?
To install everything just extract the file, enter the directoty and click twice the file and wait for installation

AGAIN: WHAT?
It will install just some components of the suite:
- Gtk2
- Emerald
- Guification
- Splash Screen
- NowPlaying Screenlet
- Grub
- Fonts
- Conky
- GDM Theme

Grub autoscript
When you install the suite you got the xpm image in the right place, but you don't get the menu.lst configured. To configure it, you can run my automated script located in your

/usr/local/script/install_splash

as Root

Other Informations

For other informations and support please visit the installer homepage on my blog

That... is really bad for the eyes... except for the Now Playing theme. That one's not too bad.

Installer works fine, though.

 Text in Firefox

I absolutely love this theme, but I was wondering if there's a way to stop it from applying to websites in Firefox. Some (not all) sites I frequent now have a white font and black input boxes, which can be rather annoying. Is there any way to prevent this from happening or do I have to live with it?

Havin the same problem. What I do is type the stuff into the txt editor then I paste it in the fields. I hate doing it though but it is easier then temporarily changing my theme. I think webmasters need to make better use of CSS and define the colors so they render the same in all browsers and themes. Alot of webmasters are not aware of them changes or flat out don't care. :-(

Its allright with the kitty paw! Kitties are cool!
