Thank you very much for this icon set.

I install libreoffice 4.1 from repo/ppa (not manual install). So that i need to place the zip file in /usr/share/libreoffice/share/config folder.

Inside of icon pack , there are a manual of installation in english .

For LibreOffice 4.1

You must put the zip file ( images_crystal.zip , images_human.zip) in the direction /opt/libreoffice4.1/share/config .

If you use Nautilus . Open the terminal .
Next put :

sudo nautilus /opt/libreoffice4.1/share/config

with this sentence , automatically open the direction /opt/libreoffice4.1/share/config .

Later , you place the zip file ( images_crystal.zip , images_human.zip)

**************************************************

If you use Nemo . Open the terminal .
Next put :

sudo nemo /opt/libreoffice4.1/share/config

Sorry i didn't make my comment rather clearly before (english is not my first language).

First, I installed libreoffice by downloading deb file from libreoffice website. By this, when i put the zip file at /opt.../config, it worked.

Later, I removed libreoffice which i (installed from deb) and reinstalled it using ppa (both version 4.1). And it didn't work when i put zip file in /opt/.../config.
Then I tried to put the zip file in the directory i mentioned in my previous comment and it worked :)

 Great work

Now that you've included mimetypes, this set is really promising!

However, look at http://tinypic.com/r/98d82x/5 – do you plan to do anything about this? It looks slightly half baked and – what's more important – distracting to have regular folder icons in the bookmarks mixed with those special folder icons.

Oh well, that's a wrong thread I posted this in! Apologies! :)

P. S. I really like your work too! LibreOffice looks really smooth with these Faenza icons.

 LO 4.3.0 on Ubuntu Trusty

Just noting for folks using LibreOffice 4.3.0 on Ubuntu from the LibreOffice PPA. As from version 4.3.0, the image files were moved from /usr/share/libreoffice/share/config/ to /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/config/. Keep that in mind when copying the images_crystal.zip package.

Is strange , because for LibreOffice stable
the icons are in the address : sudo nemo /usr/share/libreoffice/share/config

For LibreOffice RC or Beta
the icons are in the address : sudo nemo /opt/libreoffice4.3/share/config

Nuliukas , thank you for the information .
I will change the address where are put the icons in the manual .

Yup. It seems it is a Debian change that got imported to Ubuntu 13.10 PPA for 4.3 and the upcoming 14.04 as well.

The relevant line in the changelog https://launchpad.net/debian/+source/libreoffice/1:4.3.0~rc2-1:

Quote:
- stop moving images*zip to /usr/share and creating symlinks. hardlinks would work but cross-directory hardlinks are frowned upon...

Thanks for great work! :)

Oops! Obviously I meant 14.04 and 14.10 relatively. Still living in the past it seems, haha!

 Exit W/O Saving Warning Icon

by nuliukas on: Aug 20 2014

Is the icon in the exit w/o saving warning dialog supposed to look like this? It is as if screaming at you. Since most of the LO Faenza icons are black, I was almost shocked when I saw such a bright yellow one. :)

See here http://postimg.org/image/ozlj38evb/

P.S. It's in LO 4.3.
